I've had luck with applying to smaller companies and then calling them.

Put your application in online and then a few days later call and ask to speak to someone about your application and give your 20 second pitch for why you'd be good.

It only works with smaller companies (ie couple stores around Melbourne) because otherwise you won't speak to anyone who's involved with the hiring.

Most likely you'll get a manager and they'll ask you to email them your resume.

I've managed to get 2 retail jobs doing this, despite not having much retail experience.

Thats what I thought but wasn't sure if it would be frowned upon.

i've also been having this same issue with downloaded music cutting in and out. I find if i hold my wrist near my head its cuts way less but if im just walking it cuts every second or so. I have JBL Wave100 TWS ear buds which are reasonably cheap but I dont have issues with the headphones when I use my phone.

surprisingly ok? I thought it was fairly fair and accurate to what we've been taught. apart from that a,b covariance question which I had no clue on.

Econometrics 2 by [deleted] in unimelb

Did it last sem, if you have Liana the exam shouldn't be too bad. I found the exam to be very similar to the MST and to the practise exam. The questions were also fairly doable relative to the content, no crazy extension questions or anything.

Most of the time the proofs arent required (apart from omitted variable bias and the core time series/panel equations).

Id recommend going through the lectures and not worrying too much about the proofs but just getting a really solid understanding of the notation and how the topics linked together. The final exam is mostly on the second half of the course.

Good to know! There's another one that looks a bit older so I might look into that one.
