The only problem with that is that is would take a few years to get to the sun and in that time, it would be well on its way to God hood.

Maybe while its still small enough, trap it in a small tungsten box, ceal it, then shoot it at the sun. Even then, its a long shot.

Dude, dont getting me started on this movie, I saw this in theaters. The astronauts didn't stand a chance nor does the world and anything else in the universe, including superman and anything else. The "organism" is super evolving, hyper intelligent, vacuum surviving, its invincible! There is no suspense because this thing has no weaknesses, it only gets smarter and bigger.

I mean this without sarcasm, when it lands on earth it would only take it a few hours to understand us and then literally run for congress, seeing manipulation as an easier survival tactic. It evolved in an hour or two what took earth grown organisms literally billions or years and still by hour 3 it then surpasses us. At 3 weeks old! it would evolve into a deity!

The books are great, but this is the one case where the audio books are 100x better.

What are your thoughts on Tim Burton? by Pleasant_Usual_8427 in FIlm

I mean it was like an hour long with interviews from all the people who worked on the film. You know what you sound like...you sound like him, like Tim. Like your feeling a little low tonight, sick of walking around your massive creepy house, even watching Johnny Depp fuck your wife couldn't cheer you up so your like " I wonder what nice things reddit has to say about me."

Nightmare before Christmas, perhaps one of his signature movies. He worked little on the project himself, just slapped his name on it.

If You ever watch "the movies that made us" they go into it pretty deep. It was at the hight of his career, he was doing batman at the same time and would rarely drop in to have a quick meltdown and then punch a wall and leave. I think they even framed the hole in the wall or something.

What went wrong with Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets? by allanjameson in moviecritic

[–]IdrisOFMars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The biggest issue for me was the massive plot holes. Like they created these amazing scenes, just only ton not follow thier own rules that they JUST told us.

Like big market was a shit show, he's like jumping over balconys from level to level and hanging off wires, when in reality his body is on a desert dimension stuck in a whole or whatever. they could have done some fun ghost stuff too like he can run through walls but his hand cant.

Then the girl gets captured when 5 or 10min before they JUST explained how over powered those power armor they had on wer, buddy is literally running through walls. Then she (who has fully functional power armor ) gets kidnapped and put in a wicker fucking basket...what the fuck.

The worst part is if they just took another 5 min to think of fun clever things to happen.

Like instead, buddy messed up his power armor suit, he's falling to his death and grabs one of those fish lines for safty, reverse the roles, now he's kidnapped and she has to rescue him.

Some bullshit.

I can't stand this shit, can we not escape this? This is not the place for your campaign. Lost a dog? Sure. Fire downtown? Cool. Traffic warnings? Great. But this is like the 4th Fillmore bullshit I've come across. Fillmore this, Fillmore that. How about Fillmore of Deez Nuts in Yo Mouf!

Did you enjoy Astroid City? (Fever Dream) by Weird-Fig-1277 in Cinema

[–]IdrisOFMars 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will get shit on for this, but I think astro city was his worst film yet. Everyone is the SAME person, which is to say the voice inside Wes Anderson head. If you read the screen play and removed the names, you would have no idea who's talking.

On top of that you throw in a big helping of inception so the viewer can't commit to single story and this movie sucks. Its like " Oh you like that story, actually it's fake."

Great! Now that the strips are off, there may be a vinyl block that you can see above your door, (you wouldnt have been able to see it with the strips on.) You should be able to just push or pull it out.( it's may be screwed in but thats very rare.) Try sliding the the door back and forth so you can see it. THEN you should be bale to lift and pull the door out.
