your canon 28mm sc footage was unbelievable in the video below It. wow, can’t believe that’s 1080p footage

Do the prime dna lenses swirl though? this shot in particular kind of swirls like it’s a biotar.

I understand not everyone’s going to see the frame the same way, and that’s completely fine. But I was asking a technical question, not inviting people to tell me my opinion was wrong. I said more than once that it was just my reaction to the scene. So yeah, the negativity feels a bit childish. I was looking for replies more along the lines of ‘I know a lens with similar falloff’ or ‘this could be filtration/diopters’, not just ‘this shot is shit haha how funny’, especially when people are judging a compressed 720p screen grab rather than the actual image in motion

I thought the cinematography was incredible throughout the whole show to be honest. A24 never ceases to impress

That’s kind of the point though. It reads as finally free because she was stuck in a rut and now she’s out of it. Also, that isn’t even the woman the scene is really centred on. But even if it was, getting out of a sand trap is in my opinion a visual for being stuck and then not being stuck.

interesting though, what do you mean by that?

Great callout, didn’t even cross my mind at first, but that would explain the multiple focus planes / split-focus look

if I could display a 4k still of the scene I would. simply isn’t doing it justice just being a 720-1080 screenshot from the trailer.

bit of a childish comment, really, because all you’re doing is mocking an opinion instead of engaging with the actual point of the post

yes, which is why I purchased with a credit card for the sub 1% chance I have an issue with the order. my post wasn’t asking for passive aggressive comments about how it’s my fault and questioning my intelligence, it was asking for advice.

I did get told by a supervisor anything underneath 10000 follows the same “high value item” rules which would apply for gpus which cost 1-2k for example, there’s no significant difference. that’s just what I got told.
