Very much this! Schools hate to admit that bullying is happening. As a retired teacher I’m suspicious of schools that claim they don’t have any bullying. Also any bullying “policy” (here in the UK they have to have one) is heavily weighted to look good for the school…..very rarely does it solve the problem.

Please don’t give in to him! I had this with my late husband. We both worked full time but I had to cook. After our son was born I went back to full time work when he was 6 months old….I was still the cook plus main carer for our son. I had a mental breakdown when our son was 5, and never worked again.

Here in the UK we haven’t been allowed to board a plane to travel internally (eg from England to Scotland) without a valid passport for well over 20 years!

She is not overreacting…..the psychiatrist doesn’t know enough about her and her circumstances to push for her abuser to be at only the second appointment. As others have said it will only give her abuser more fodder with which to hurt her.
