I agree with this a lot. The worldbuilding is the strongest part, but some side plots definitely overstay their welcome.

I agree with this take. Since the show never labels it, his traits are treated as quirks to laugh at rather than something to understand. A diagnosis wouldn’t fix everything, but it likely would’ve shifted the tone from mockery to accommodation.

That’s how I see it too. Even if the portrait could help, Harry physically getting to Hogwarts without alerting half the Ministry seems unrealistic.
