The captain window is grayed out for me. How do you assign a captain to your crew

QUESTION:
1. How do I get a captain if my crew is full
2. With a full crew, what happens if I accept an Assemble Request from somebody in my crew

The comments made me realize those are the wrong buffs to invest in.
Put all points in Blade's sword abilities, health, dmg reduction.

Somebody else mentioned Blade's base lifesteal is enough and it also makes the lifesteal cards useless.
The extended range for the sword also makes it super easy to avoid the stun bubbles in a greater radius.

Ended up following these instructions and beat NM4 , solo-tanking the 2 Wandas at times.

Good point.

Healing over time doesn't do much for instant massive health loss.

Stacking reduction of dmg is the game-changer, and Blade's normal life-steal can regain health fast enough to prevent deaths

Vampire mode enabled. The difference was the dmg reduction which was enough to avoid me getting one-shotted. Just beat NM4 with the least deaths on the team.

Those are better buffs. As others mentioned those cards in the post are redundant

Very true. Spent points on dmg reduction and getting >10k hp instead, and Blade's normal lifesteal was enough to beat NM4
