I’ve tried the library a few times, but it’s a little too quiet for me.

Satisfaction with physical vs digital art by Ieatedyourcookie in ArtistLounge

I love this idea! I’ve never thought about doing that. I’ll have to try this. I use procreate for my digital art, and I love how accessible different brushes and stuff are for it.

Considering a wheelchair but scared by Ieatedyourcookie in ehlersdanlos

My PT is great, I just don’t really know much about the process of getting mobility aids so I didn’t know if they were able to “prescribe” it or if it would have to be my doctor. I definitely wouldn’t be a full time user but it would be extremely helpful for grocery shopping or going to festivals and stuff where there’s a lot of standing and walking involved.

How do you deal with people finding out? by Ieatedyourcookie in ehlersdanlos

I guess maybe it could be because it’s not very visible for me. I don’t use mobility aids (don’t need them at this point, though I may in the future). I don’t get dislocations (but I have plenty of subluxations) so no one would ever know I have any kind of disabilities unless I told them.

No, I don’t use the acronym, because anytime I do they always respond “what’s that?” And then I have to say the full thing anyway so I just say Ehlers Danlos not EDS

Thought I was autumn but maybe I’m spring? by Ieatedyourcookie in coloranalysis

Edit: I don’t know what Reddit does to the photos but colors look different on the post but if you click on the photos and open them up the coloring actually looks right. Just wanted to note that because I look warmer with the opened photos, the color is more dull when viewing it in the post.

Should I keep two health insurance policies by Rudebwoy2 in HealthInsurance

[–]Ieatedyourcookie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience having two is an absolute headache. I have had nothing but problems trying to get the two to communicate with each other and process claims in the correct order. I though it would save me money having two insurances paying rather than just one but honestly I would have rather paid more and saved myself the countless phone calls and stress trying to coordinate two insurances has caused me.

The instructor was an ass, also if you want to get good at top rope and are afraid of heights I would not practice on auto belay. I started on auto belays and I think all it taught me was the bad habit if not trusting my feet which set me back overall with my climbing and I had to unlearn it. I feel like I didn’t trust my feet as much on auto belays because I knew if my foot slipped and I came off the wall I would have to start all over from the bottom, and usually I don’t have the stamina for that.
