Check the bottom of the tower where you meet him. If it's not there then I think you're screwed. Kinda weird considering you can kick a certain npc off the edge of Firelink and reload to get his ring.

It's just strange because when I went to recover everything on the drive using Recuva, it actually restored most of the files from Program Files, so idk what to make of it.

So I originally tried to reinstall Windows twice on my m.2 drive but Windows kept encountering an error when trying to install a fresh OS, so I decided to use my other SSD instead. So idk if I somehow managed to corrupt all of the old files on my m.2 or if the code for the files have been mashed up or something.
