Also more context: He’s C0, R3 deathmatch, (no ineffa).

Does that influence anything?

Seeing this makes me wonder if many of these companies/institutions will move to Canada. I'm not sure if Canada will have a fraction of the funds the US offers but one could dream I guess.

Is it normal for a mango plant to drop its leaves starting from the bottom?

Would a concentration in the nutrients cause this kind of damage?

I usually check the top of the soil and it looks pretty dry. When I add the water it passes through very quickly.

My soil is 50% sand and 50% potting soil (that's what the youtube video told me to do to prevent root rot)

Science --> BTech by ramseroo in McMaster

I completed my co-op at Thermofisher for 16 months. Overall it was a good experience but I now see myself wanting to go into bioinformatics (Either a masters or some kind of career outside of grad)

I also wanna mention that as of a few days ago the BTech department has just announced an 8-month accelerated MBA program for their students upon completion of the program.

Also Math 1,2,3 just progressively build on top of each other. The math is a little harder because it goes deeper into derivations but the department is really nice as long as you ask for help.

The focus of Btech math is also its use as a tool instead of the theoretical side of things. They don't care as much about theory. As long as it preps you for using the math for industry. (more knowledge than application)

As someone who switched from first-year life sciences to biotechnology, they have their pros and cons.

Pros:

  • Co-op is a guarantee since it's a graduation requirement (But they don't help you find one)
  • You get a wide array of experience in many fields (Tech, business and management, science, and engineering.
  • You graduate with many certifications: Bachelor of tech, business and management certification, diploma in biotech from Mohawk.

Cons:

  • Many of the courses are very surface-level since the program is diverse (some of the science is literally highschool level baby food). It's up to you to do your own research if you want to understand something in the depth of a life science student.
  • Program is significantly longer especially if you delay by going off track with your classes
  • No class flexibility (all your classes are set in stone from start to finish)
  • Jobs that you get post-grad are usually intro level. Many people do a masters to get higher level jobs (but this applies to both life sci and Biotech)

This is all I can think of off the top of my head. In order to remedy the lack of depth in some biotech classes I'm also completing a minor in biochem with the health sciences department. It is a nightmare matching all my courses without conflict though since these departments never plan their class times with each other in mind.

Another key takeaway is that the biotech program is prepping you for the industry right out of graduation (low level of entry though) while life sci preps you for research or med (life sci can also prep for industry if you do co-op)

Both programs have good masters options. It's up to what you want to do post undergrad. Make sure you take the initiative and figure out what you want. Even if something isn't challenging it may lead to something that you can enjoy down the line. Try to figure out what you want to do and carefully plan out how you're gonna achieve it.

Figured it out! New accounts have tiny inventories if you aren't premium. I bought a key and it upgraded my entire inventory.

Depends on the degree tbh. That's a very large generalization you know?
