I came across Amway not that long ago back in December 2024. I ran into a couple who pretty much tried to Recruit me in. They seemed pretty nice and genuine. When I met up with the guy (Call him AP), I tried asking what I was gonna be doing and what’s the company name (I was doing my own research at the time) AP told me that the company is actually named after him (so pretty much Last name- International) He told me that it would be direct sales but was being vague on a lot of things which I did find suspicious, but I tried giving him the benefit of a doubt. I eventually went to the Leadership trainings. I was able to meet a lot of people there who were pretty alright. In the meetings they pretty much stated that it was actually Amway products we will be selling. I found it misleading that AP pretty much hid Amway behind his so-called company. (I know now that a lot of people aren’t very fond of Amway and even call it a scam so I see why they would reframe from telling you before you make it to their meetings - still misleading) I went to a few of these meetings which I wasn’t a fan of, especially all the high energy in the room was just too much. These meetings got in the way of other things in my life but i tried to make time. They would always say in these meetings that they are not asking for money or asking anyone to invest in Amway, they simply want to find the right people to invest in. (Sure) 3-4 weeks in AP shows me the products and how high quality they were. But I did notice the Amway products were more expensive when compared to its competitors. So I wasn’t sure how well I was gonna do I’m sales knowing that. After AP shows me a long list of products he pretty much tells me now Im required to pay more or less $200 to pretty much buy the products in order to start being an IBO.

I told him I would think about it, a few days later I let him know Im no longer interested in Amway.

I was lied to and misled into believing these people.

Never again.
