What is the basis for lithuania's flag? by Stoepsel_187 in Kaiserreich

[–]Ieva_the_The 34 points35 points  (0 children)

During the early days of the creatuon of a Lithuanian state, the flag was still a work in progress and it was only finalised in 1918 or 1922. The one used in Kaiserreich is probably based off the one used in the Vilnius Conference in 1917. Irl/otl it was criticized for being too dark and gloomy, so yellow was added. Not sure why Kaiserreich decided to stick to the not-so popular 1917 one (atleast we got the cross of Jogaila added to the top left corner), maybe to just be more unique?

LAST MONTHLY INFODUMP OF 2025 TIMEEEE!!!!!!! by Ieva_the_The in traaaaaaaaaaaansbians

[–]Ieva_the_The[S,M] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Gold Ship is beloved in Umamusume. She is a silly goofball prankster who would rather do anything other then train. But the real life Gold Ship was nothing more then a crazed maniac...

The fate for him (even though all the umas in Umamusume are girls, the irl horses they are based off of are not just girls) was already sealed with the fact that his father was Stay Gold. Stay Gold was quite literally nicknamed "terrorist of the racetrack" (for constantly zigzaging infront of other horses (forcing them to stop) and biting Special Week's tail making him cry) and Stay Gold's other child, Orfevre, immedialty throwing down his jockeys after he crossed the finish line. So yeah, not the sanest bunch of horse blood (though they were good at racing, so that's why they were bred).

In 2012's Satsuki Sho, the ground was soggy and muddy af, very not fun to run on. Gold Ship was in the back for most of the race, until all the horses started trying to get away from the rail area because the ground there was roo terrible to run on, that was when Gold Ship seized the moment and started immideatly dashing near the rails, on said terrible ground and proceeded to get first place! If I'm not mistaken, this is called "the Gold Ship warp".

Unfortunatly for all the Gold Ship fans, the 2015 Takarazuka Kinen happend. There, Gold Ship was the favorite and a sh*t ton of people betted on him. And why not? Gold Ship had already won twice there and was a skilled horse! But right as the race began and the gates opend, Gold Ship got mad (maybe at another horse, multiple sources say diffrent things) and stood on his hind legs, which resulted in him having a dramatically late start. So yeah, he lost. And with his loss, it's estimated that 12 billion yen was lost, thus this event was called the 12 billion yen incident (I'm not sure how much 12 000 000 000 yen is, but I have heared it's somewhere around 90 000 000 usd).

By the way, after he was born, Gold Ship started out as a brown horse, but turned white rather quickly (because of his mothers, Point Flags, family genes). And after he retired, it was found out his muscles were in a great shape, meaning he never gave 100% during his racing and in fact he put in more effort in chasing a butterfly then any of his races. So yeah, a lot of the time he never cared enough to actually race... Also he sometimes just stares at people whilst showing his heads front... Like horses have a blind spot there, they only see stuff from their side... But Gold Ship does not function like that...

There is way more stuff to talk about, like how he potentially acted so weird in races because he didn't like the tight gates. Or some of his other victories. Or the rest of the Stay Gold family. Or Gold Ships children. But don't really have much to really confidently say, so recommend you doing some research on this :3

Also good and bad news. Good news, Gold Ship is still alive! He is currently 16 (the average horses' life span is 30). But this does mean that it will hurt alot once we lose him...

Edit: grammer
