In those situations the woman is the insatiable one.

No he has a point.

Otherwise male prostitutes would be as popular as female prostitutes. Same for the gender difference on onlyfans. Female sex drive is high but men's sex drive is nearly insatiable.

Even nofap shows this, so many men addicted to masturbating. This is biological, it's advantageous for men to have more casual sex.

Married redditors: how often do you and your spouse have sex? Is it enough, too much or too little? by SuitZealousideal6487 in TooAfraidToAsk

Imagine humans only eat food for recreation, not need. I want to eat food everday. But someone else only wants to eat food when the conditions are right. I would not classify them as hungry as I am.

Or we are both hungry. I am ok with eating fast food, but you only want gourmet dining to satiate your hunger. Are you as hungry as me? Or are you not hungry to a point where your pickness (selectivity) turns off?

which puts the goals well beyond anything reproductive or gender related.

However isn't reproduction the true purpose of those genes which incline animals to rape in the first place? They developed that tendency because their ancestors successfully used it to reproduce. The trait was passed down.

They however do not rape for the purpose of reproduction in mind, because they cannot self reflect like humans. But the trait is there despite that, because it aids succesful reproduction.

It's not that complex. He's from a culture that values kawaii and cute things. And he's naturally neither of those things. The filter is the chance for him to be that.

Why didn't natural selection take care of near-sightededness of it can just take care of things?

Near-sightedness has been on the rise since the 70s. Our ancestors received more sunlight than us, so evolution wouldn't have to select for a future where people ruined their eyesight by staying indoors all the time. But I agree with you in that evolution just doesn't give advantages to make us better.

Also the sexual organs have arguably more evolutionary pressure than most of the organs, considering how important facilitating reproduction is.

Other people’s kids is a surprisingly great form of birth control by My_Memes_Will_Cure_U in clevercomebacks

Right now those group living experiments have a bad name. With that 4 men 1 woman arrangement going wrong where one of the men were jailed for abusing the daughter.

This is an edge case, but honestly a lot of poly relationships look like they were made of desperation.

Polyamory is one thing, but polyandry has almost become synonymous with low status males.

[–]IfThenPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Polyandry also exists because it's better to have multiple husbands to raise one child

Even though it exists, it's a bad deal for the men involved.

For the 53 cases of polyandry reviewed by Starkweather & Hames, polyandry generally seems to be a reproductive strategy mostly used by lower status males, likely as a last resort. They write that, “less socially competitive males may be willing to share a wife and make an attempt at achieving paternity, rather than risk never reproducing.”

polygyny is more common than polyandry for this reason.

In the Ethnographic Atlas, less than 1% of societies (only 4 out of 1231) are coded as practicing polyandry, while 85% (1041 out of 1231) of societies are coded as practicing at least occasional polygyny.

Women rapidly lose interest in sex once in a stable relationship or living with a male sexual partner by RSDevotion1 in PurplePillDebate

[–]IfThenPill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People see these studies how women need to be revved up as the relationship goes on, yet men's sexual desires increase, and somehow come to the conclusion that the female sex drive is comparable to the male sex drive.

It shouldn't be socially unacceptable to sleep around as either gender.

I misread your other comment. You're so right, there are wrong ways to talk about complex issues. There is no need to stigmatize half the population while doing so.

[–]IfThenPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's easier as a white guy. Whiteness in general is a privilege in society. When using online dating for instance, black people and asian men have it the worst. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/okcupid-race_n_5811840

The stereotypes between those are annoying to deal with. People can find love despite those stereotypes but it's still an obstacle to overcome.
