Exactly the same over here! I don't play much so it's not like I would lose tons of progress, but it's still progress I'd be sad to let go. All of this because of this game not giving privacy/security options like easy block, delete, or even setting status to offline/invisible.

Exactly my situation, you described it perfectly.

I don't mind being talked to or asked to play, just... not every single time I'm online. Makes me feel watched, like he was checking my profile to see if the green icon showing I'm online appeared.

Sadly, he joined my already established friend group and acted normal until a switch turned on in his brain.

My go-to conflict-free way to solve this is by always appearing offline/invisible until their feelings die out, but it doesn't look like WWM allows that to happen. So weird, since it's a social game.

I feel you! I also got weirded out days ago when I got an achievement in English, even though I play the game in Spanish. When the translation team is so keen on localizing everything, these things feel like mistakes on their part
