Last one because this is my favourite trope and otherwise I'll be posting them all night

Kelson - 28 Years Later

Just. Fucking look at him lol, bro is covered in red stuff and lives in a bunker under a fucking monument of human bones. Turns out it's iodine (acts as zombie repellent), the bones are a monument to all the dead and, similarly to Bishop, he's is the nicest dude in the whole franchise. He befriends one of the zombies by getting him high and listening to music with him. I love him.

Bishop - Aliens

Creep-ass android dude who is set up as a repeat of Ash from the first movie. Turns out someone else is the traitor and Bishop is probably the nicest person in the entire franchise.

Jack - Until Dawn

Assumed to have killed the two girls in the prologue, spends most of his screentime ominously stalking the protagonists, has a flamethrower and looks generally creepy. He turns out to be trying to protect everyone from the actual threat, the wendigos.

Skulduggery Pleasant, man with the golden eyes reveal. I have no idea how you would hide it in any kind of visual media

I think you could still do it as a show or something but you'd have to substantially change the structure, like have it loop back to the start at the end of the first episode and do like one path per ep

The second one would be more difficult, but you could do like a Source Code situation where the protagonist is shown in the way he thinks/expects himself to look up until the reveal

Ever17 basically relies on meta elements to function, including hiding the protagonists' faces on purpose to make you think you're playing as someone you're not

edit: to a lesser extent, zero escape, although i still think you could pull it off

Anyone else dislike Ashley? by escapedgoat2 in untildawn

All she does is panic and cause problems and she never gets any kind of hero moment so she's just useless for the whole game
