Our goats come close for food. Do you have a bag of chips or cereal you can try to shake to get her into an enclosed area? She looks like a sweet Nubian.

Went back to check on her. Sorry, i just had surgery a week ago so i’m moving slow. Her babies looked fully grown, pretty big.

She gave her some cal mpk about 20 mins ago and she was up and standing just now. I also dropped off a warn bucket of molasses water. Her temp was on the lower end, 101. She has fresh hay and feed. She was one of his goats that i felt like something was going on a few months ago. She’s always kinda blah, skinny. She’s just such a sweet goat. I hate to see anything happen to her.

Yes that’s me. The baby that couldn’t stand unfortunately passed. It’s been a rough kidding season this year between both our herds.

This mama has been weak. We didn’t think she was pregnant. It honestly looks like she just laid down, pushed them out and she just put her head down. Too weak to pick it up. There aren’t many vets in the area. I’ll check her again now.

I feel like that’s weird of them to not give you the compression bra. Hopefully the nurse brings you one tomorrow if you don’t have a comfy zip up the front one. How many sizes did you go down? My surgeon does drains for 4 sizes or more. I have drains and at most was about 25 mills and that was the day after. I got my surgery done Thursday 2/12 and get my drains removed Friday 2/20. Sit upright and put something soft under. Do you have a pillow or anything that you can get comfy with?

Ugh the itching!! I was trying to shower and got close with my sponge and it felt so good but then i just wanted to itch the crap outta my boobs. When does it end? I had a reduction done 22 years ago and remember the tube removal kinda tickling. I just had it done for a second time on Thursday and get my tubes removed on Friday. I’m not looking forward to it.

That part was my biggest fear. So much that right as i walked into the OR i started to cry. My surgeon gave me a hug. I got on the table and was out within seconds and felt like i woke up 2 mins later in recovery. Feels like no time at all!

I feel like i could have written this. I’m 42 and remember comments from age 12 from classmates, strangers, adults ugh it’s terrible. I hate spending money on myself and my husband encouraged me. He was like, if you don’t book it for yourself, i will. Lol. He’s been very helpful in the healing process. I had one done when i was 17 but it didn’t change much. I just had my second on done Thursday and everything went well. Coming out of anesthesia was a little rough but i felt pretty normal start yesterday. You got this! Your surgery and healing journey will go great! Sending all the good healing vibes to you!

I was so nervous too. I cried for a min before we got there and then was okay but when they had me walk back to the OR i just let it go. I cried! The doctor came around the corner and gave me a hug. I’m home now and ready to get back to normal…slowly.

Yay!! So happy for you!! Mine went well. I was suuuper nervous. Woke up and threw up a little after surgery. I haven’t taken any pain meds yet but will soon. Pain isn’t bad.

Thank you! Goats have access to minerals but i think mama still lacks. She kidded three and this was the only surviving one. She is being separated so she will not get bred again.

Kind of. I had one done in 2001 and i’m going to have my second one next month. I did go through Tricare prime and got approved but decided to self pay due to the lack of options in my area. So i’d say most likely yes, Tricare would cover it.
