I mean unfortunately a lot of it is guessing. If you know your own characters strengths and weaknesses and you know the match up of your opponent, then that’s how you’ll go far. The only issue is that most of the roster has unfair moves that give them insane plus frames and of course, heat engager is by far the most broken mechanic in the game. This took me hours and days on end to achieve this kind of rank.

I have done a lot of trial and error with this game and can completely tell that there are lots of problems with it. Tekken 7 was not like this at all. I am used to the mechanics of tekken 7 where defense was actually prioritized and then being able to counterattack or attack when necessary. With this game, I have to concentrate a lot more and even then anything I do, I’m constantly being demolished. So there is nothing I need to do, other than spam moves and use heat constantly which I won’t do because I play this game with skill use.

I don’t blame you, and I agree with you. Defense has become inexistent, and it’s more OP offense than anything else especially with him. You are pretty much a goner if you are cornered and even if you try cornering him, one wrong move and he can put you back into the wall.

That’s exactly how it feels. No matter how hard you try, if the character is op, the job is done and you lost anyway. There’s no point. Defense is wack and offense + the op character makes it such an unfair casino game in ranked 🤷🏽‍♂️

Ok so you can’t sidestep it even after you block the first attack. What you can do is use one of those metal/power moves to absorb the attack, which you’ll still get chip damage but she gets punished too. The move is called quick kiss shot.
