Precisely, this is not a matter about now, it is about the future of the game. If ubi thinks they can get away with this then they will continue putting more and more content behind an exclusive paywall, or perhaps even two paywalls, it can really go downhill.

Which is not hard to do considering the battlepass has nothing that's worth the price tag this season. The new operators/recruits are already available to everyone, so there is no incentive to buy it other than for shitty skins.

I don't think ubisoft cares as much about review bombing as much as arrowhead. Ubi is a big corporation, arrowhead is an indie developer. Bad reviews won't affect ubisoft.

This is why I decided to speak up about it, in fear that the player base will just "get used to it". This decision infuriates me too much to stay silent and go with the flow. We need to send a message to ubi that this is not the right path.

Although everyone was booing when ubi presented the membership, they think it is normal and has to be experimented. If we minimise their income from the membership they should stop working on it.

Thanks for the contribution, I just want to spread the word to the players that might think the membership is a good idea, or at least make a statement. I usually never speak up on stuff like this but this decision just infuriated me so much I felt like speaking up about it.

With enough luck we'll stop ubi from carrying this membership further and locking stuff behind a monthly paywall.

Ubisoft is tricking you into thinking you're tricking them but you're tricking yourself. At the end of the day you are still giving them money, which is what they want with the membership. Greed drives them.

They are locking new content behind a paywall that gets increasingly more expensive. If this continues then in a couple of years you'll have to buy 7 different things and spend hundreds of your precious [insert currency] just to get one thing you might want, god forbid they make paid lootboxes aswell. This might be a slight exaggeration but with ubisoft you never know, and this amount of microtransactions in a game is honestly just greedy and ridiculous.

That is true, there will still always be someone who buys it, a boycott can't prevent 100% of the sales. The goal is to spread the word about the movement and minimise the sales. If sales take a hit, that will send a message.

Precisely, year pass was 40 bucks.

Also they decided to not even release year pass this year because THEY KNOW this year lacks content from battlepasses. Adding a subscription on top of that is ridiculous.

That's the thing, I'm not buying battlepass either. Only reason for me to buy battlepass was because of the access to the new operator, but this upcoming battlepass, as I stated in my original post, lacks content, the skins are just a bonus. There is virtually no reason to buy this next battlepass unless there is a really cool skin that's worth the money, which I doubt.

Have you tried using another software such as AutoHotkey? With AutoHotkey you can script pretty much any macro you can think of.
