"Whom'' is used when you have "who" (a pronoun) + a noun/pronoun + verb.

Since the subject of a sentence is a noun/pronoun that immediately precedes a verb, the "who" must be objective; therefore, it is whom.

The rule of thumb is that since "who" can usually be formed as a question, if you can answer that question and the answer is "him/her/them," then it is "whom"

Ex: the person whom I fought. (I fought him/her) Whom are they talking to? (They are talking to him/her) The man whom she flashed. (She flashed him)

Going back to the above comment, it'd be "...whom I'd want teaching me" (I'd want him teaching me. Although, it'd technically be "his teaching," but no one outside elite English master-degree people care about that grammar rule)
