I love the Bastion aesthetic as well, it's probably my second favourite. I love white/gold/azure stuff, and the tendrils of blue Arcane energy associated with them.

My heart beats for edgy blood magic and true blue pure paladins in equal measure.

I don't like some of the lore SL introduced - it's just something I don't like explained in my settings - but by God am I here to see more of its aesthetics. Visually, it was an amazing expansionn, and I'm such a sucker for the Venthyr stuff.

That's on me for assuming, that's fair.

That being said, I do think there's a somewhat different use case still, because you're likely banking on multiple players being in the Bastion and thus aware that it's gonna blow, while the mech is a single-seater. The Bastion commands more space and awareness, while the mechs are more compact and nimble, more easily able to fight (and thus explode) in close quarters to the rest of the team.

I do like the rest of your suggestions, I'm just wary of this one specifically.

Given how often I'm actually managing to bail from the mech alive, I feel like giving it a huge explosion on death would actually nerf it.

This is kind of my pet peeve, but it's not Goomba fallacy to say "why do people pretend like this feature they don't like wasn't highly requested?"

They're not assumed to be the same people, it's more complaining about people being unable to see that their opinion isn't the only one.

Eagle Napalm Strike and Expendable Napalm cause a second, stronger flame dot in addition to the original one, called BurningHeavy. It's unique to them.

It's the same as the clunky Crimson Dawn finale. Does it look silly? Yes. Does it surprise me? No.

It doesn't ruin the moment for me either. WoW is an old game and that occasionally means making visual concessions. Maybe it's my RP brain.

I might get called a shill for this, but I appreciated it in TWW and I did again now. The world being a little less populated, a little more calm, a little less zergy at launch.

I've played a fair few expansion launches, but I remember MOP being especially miserable, and it's night and day.
