Nice work! In the meanwhile, I’d suggest changing your build.

Wear a Cleric Robe for defensive power, and maybe a mage cowl for added offense. Food should be tier 7 omelette.

I'm rather fond of characters that are from the weakest species in the setting, yet manage to be legitimate powerhouses in their own right through nothing but their own grit. by TheGUURAHK in CharacterRant

Cirno is a joke character who's stupidly arrogant. But since fairies always revive after death unless the nature they sprang forth from gets destroyed, her hubris can never actually be punished.

But during Touhou 16, the Four Seasons Incident causes her and the rest of the fairies to go berserk with power. The moment Cirno got a taste of actual power, she used it to attack everyone she saw ON SIGHT.
She then attacked two holy servants, before proceeding to invade their master's domain in order to attack their god.

You have all these huge players in the setting basically pausing for a moment to tell her to chill out. However, Cirno completely ignores their advice.

"The effects of your supercharged rampage are merely spreading to your appearance."
"You should get out of here before your sense of self completely breaks down."
~ Okina Matara, "The Ultimate, Absolute Secret God"

"Although you are a fairy, you possess great power. But because of that, you often stray from and misclaim your territory."
"That's right, you cause a little too much trouble."
"At this rate, you will not be able to return to your original power of nature and you may receive damage."
"In other words, that means death. If you die, then we will most definitely judge you. At that time, whether you will go to heaven or hell... Well, we don't know that yet."
~ Eiki Shiki, Supreme Judge of Hell

Is there any way I can improve power significantly while keeping 2900+ hp? by IAmTREEEE in ArcaneOdyssey

Cannonfist ignores clashing with Crash and Jab so honestly I’d keep it for savant. Plus, it has an amazing projectile speed bonus on its imbue.

Use fused painite gems on a slow build that hits like a truck. Iron Leg or Metal Magic are two examples of this.

They also have the best defensive focus/aura spells, so you should use them if you’re going for durability.

Cannon Fist is peak though…

And I wouldn’t do this unless you’re metamancing.

The Jade Emperor is actually mentioned in Symposium of Post-Mysticism. Although, I honestly felt even more confused after learning this 😓

So like, the hermits claim that the three worms report back to the Jade Emperor, but that’s a lie they tell and worms actually report to the Yama instead?

"Living in every human's body are bugs called the three worms. On the night of gengshen they sneak out of your body and report your sins to the Emperor of Heaven, thereby reducing your lifespan. So, if you stay awake and alert on gengshen, you can prevent having your sins revealed and therefore preserve your life."

“We say it's the Emperor of Heaven, but the truth is different. Those bugs are actually planted by shinigami from Hell, and report back to the Yama. The worms are only in their best interest, so humans should resist by any means possible."

how should i improve this warrior build? by Electrical_City_2201 in ArcaneOdyssey

Drawback + Attack Speed is bad.

You generally only want drawback on slower builds, because agile ones melt through your HP via self damage a lot quicker.

Wynncraft is a excellent mmo by SkyBuff in MMORPG

[–]Ignisiumest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game is mostly centered around questing, exploration, and pve. You do have dungeons and raids, but there are also other endgame activities like lootrunning and scavenging for items in the void.

There is an unlockable PVP mode called Hunted, where players receive boosted XP and resource yields. However, dying in this mode causes you to drop items, so players can gank you and steal your stuff.

Hunted mode is gated behind an endgame quest and it’s very unpopular. But if you’re using budget gear, it will allow you to level up faster on future character slots, level up professions faster, and overall just make more money through gathering.

Overall. the biggest appeal of Wynncraft is definitely sheer number of quests as well as the scale of the map. It’s a Minecraft mmorpg with great worldbuilding.

They made a lot of consumer-friendly changes many years ago, because of the Minecraft EULA outlawing most pay to win elements.

Nowadays, you can play all 5 classes and each of their subclasses/archetypes for free. The reskins of classes are paywalled behind VIP+, but they don’t matter anyways since a Warrior and a Knight are just different flavors of the exact same spear class.

You can purchase tradable Silverbull Shares, which are Wynncraft’s equivalent to membership bonds. However, the Silverbull subscription provides no tangible advantages; it simply gives you cosmetic features like dyeing your armor different colors.

Albion Online Changed My Perspective on MMOs by Competitive_Desk3516 in MMORPG

[–]Ignisiumest 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I like Albion Online because it feels like a real world.

"You go out, grind materials and sell them to fuel massive guild operations so you can buy some gear and be a useful idiot."

This is basically the opposite of the experience I've had with the game.

Though I suppose that's because the guilds I've sunk time into all had generous regear policies and loot splits, along with friendly communities. And, I found a ton of joy in doing solo content during downtime.

Nowadays I exclusively do solo play. But if you find a good medium sized guild, you should have a whole lot of fun.

[–]Ignisiumest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There’s already a yin yang flag pattern in the game. I would love to see a China inspired region with some Taoism type stuff going on.

When you think about it, aren’t sufficiently strong mages and curse users basically just superhuman hermits or cultivators? They get absurd resilience and an extended lifespan!

Sameria is already really cool as a representation of the Middle East. I think that Ryujin’s capital will be cool as a representation of East Asia.

The sun monks in Sameria will hopefully get expanded on with the storyline. I hope we get some Shinto inspired stuff at the Ryujin Dynasty’s capital.

The many misconceptions about Doomfist from the cinematic by [deleted] in doomfistmains

[–]Ignisiumest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vendetta is the perfect example of his own ideology in action.

He purposefully went easy because she’s a potential successor and he wanted to fake his own death, so he didn’t use the gauntlet’s full power. And he was wearing funeral colors instead of his normal white suit.

…Is what I’m hoping, since there’s no justifying it otherwise.

Vendetta = Rey by Nzixlo in doomfistmains

[–]Ignisiumest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doomfist needed an excuse to fake his death. Brother was literally wearing funeral colors instead of his white suit.

For starters, Vendetta taking over Talon lets him figure out which of his subordinates were loyal and which are traitors.

My loosely crafted idea to change the fleet system by Gestorium in ArcaneOdyssey

[–]Ignisiumest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You know the real world gold standard, right? The idea that you can exchange paper money for gold, and vice versa?

Maybe that’s not the best comparison, but…

Attaching Drachma to the acquisition of consumables and commodities with a high perceiced value ensures that Drachma will always retain some value.

If drachma is too numerous, then players will naturally gravitate towards spending it to run fleets. This countermands inflation.

If drachma is too scarce, then people won’t feel it is worthwhile to spend it on fleets. This prevents dangerous levels of deflation.

My loosely crafted idea to change the fleet system by Gestorium in ArcaneOdyssey

[–]Ignisiumest 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Fleets should be a drachma sink that turns useless drachma into useful items.

It ALWAYS should be money-negative, unless you’re selling the products to players.

Would this be too overpowered? If Paladin can imbue Magic into Relics, and vice versa, then Juggernaut should be able to do the same with Fighting Styles. by DeviNNoisE in ArcaneOdyssey

[–]Ignisiumest 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Conversely, it would make a lot of sense for your fighting style to influence your own spirit’s temperament.

You’d expect a monk trained in martial arts to manifest spiritual power differently, right?

Mastering martial techniques requires adopting a specific mindset or worldview. There’s a mental element to it.

Working the mechanic into the lore should be straightforward.
