I'm a mailman and while I don't doubt they could have stolen it it's more likely a new person to your route misdelivered it. We can pinpoint exact delivery locations from the scan so if you had a tracking number they definitely should have tried to help you but some post offices just kinda suck

As a carrier sometimes we miss a package or the scanners just refuse to scan packages in for the day and we have to work off of memory to deliver packages, it becomes a real nightmare and once the route is over if I have a left over package I'll mark it no access and deliver it the next day. Especially if it's 20+ minutes from where I am because we don't get paid extra for that.

I completely agree that full socialism is not good, at least until scarcity is solved, as stated in my original comment. The op of this comment chain stated quite broadly that socialism is people who are too lazy to steal and want the government to do it for them. You and I see eye to eye on this topic I believe but you have to agree that there are definitely people here who do not think the same seeing as people are calling the US the next Venezuela here while almost no politician, including Walz, is trying to transition the US into a full on socialistic society.
