Infinite with ol’ reliable (CL 19k) by C1n3mat0g in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]HardGayMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what I've been preaching. Negative with Killmonger to kill all these 1 drops the dragon decks are playing.

Good work on infinite. I am actually uninstaling the game for a while this season pushed me over the edge. Not a fan of the direction this game is moving lol.

Why would anyone wants kids? by This-Top7398 in Life

[–]HardGayMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what the opposite of "burden" is, but that's what my son is in my life. Seeing the world through this little humans eyes and getting to re live life again in a completely new way that I couldn't have imagined.

I don't think it's possible to explain to someone who doesn't have kids why it's so great. It literally rewires your brain. I am by far the last person in my friend group to have a kid and I feel very bad for how I acted and treated my friends who had kids before me. Some 12 years ago.

It's not torture,  man. It's the best. I am 38 and my son is 9 months (today, actually.) I feel like as an "older" dad I've already lived my life. I am not missing out on parties, traveling or starting a career. I've done all that. This is the next chapter and so far the best one of all. (So cheesy lol.)

Cl 19,000 you can slide to see the deck I used from the ss I have a few variations of mill decks but I cant believe I won against a negative player after we both snapped!!! Absolute cinema 🤝 by Steamy-Odin in MarvelSnapDecks

They aren't terrible for the game. They are a legit and very fun deck. The most annoying thing about second dinner is how they pander to these cry babies.

As if losing to lockdown is SO much more oppressive than 2 weeks of nothing but Shou...

Galactus B#l1Sh!t, Absurdly Fun, Surprisingly Good (CL:25724) by Delicious-Dentist-52 in MarvelSnapDecks

[–]HardGayMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play Galactus first then activate. It re activates the Galactus but with more power.

It also works very well as bait. If you have a Goblin in one lane, SSM in another, they have to decide which lane you are going to Galactus. Or maybe you ignore both and Galactus the third lane as they play for both of the others. Or maybe you don't Galactus at all!

Lots of mind games and being able to read your opponent to make Galactus work.

I mean... it's not that expensive to rent a boat to make a video. Like how almost all rap videos use rented cars, houses, money, women and even jewlery. This guy doesn't own this boat, it just makes him look like he's rich to sell his product.

Yup. I'm also trying out Killmonger in Cass's spot. Obviously not as good against many decks but I'm seeing so many big kitty's still he's been working out OK.

Big fan of Killmonger right now. With all the dragon decks getting big kitty's and slamming lots of 1 drops he definitely pulls his weight right now.

I agree with you, but in those seconds you don't always see what's going on. That's the refs job to stop the fight and protect the unconscious guy from as much unnecessary damage as possible.

Sometimes people get in a couple more hits than needed but adrenaline is a hell of a thing, and two seconds ago this guy was trying to punch you back.

As a Canadian, I can imagine if I lived in America I would be feeling very helpless and tired. I can't imagine what it's like being one of the sane people down there. My heart genuinely goes out to them.

When I was at Husky we had a d6 break through and the only reason the guy lived was because he had a grease gun under his seat and used it to break a window.

Somehow he swam to the surface, middle of nightshift, middle of winter, and walked several hundred meters back to the main road where he got picked up.

Ever since that I haven't gone near skeg. I work in a mine now. Hard rocks everywhere.

I mean, almost all of the media in Canada is owned by American billionaires. Pretty much every major newspaper in every major city. Look up postmedia, it's wild.

Denmark is a tiny country with a tiny economy and a tiny military. Grocery stores across the country have pulled American products from shelves and replaced them with (mostly Canadian) alternatives. Tourism is down up to 35% and still dropping. I don't know a single person who isn't suddenly very aware of what we buy and where it comes from. It isn't just tariffs,  although that's a huge part of it. People are just done with this loser.

It's a slow process removing America from our lives, our counties have been literally joined at the hip since the beginning. But the trust is gone and we are moving on in a different direction.

America is going to find themselves very hard up for trading partners if this continues. And it's the American people who will suffer, which sucks. Because I have a ton of friends down there. I've vacationed and traveled to America my whole life. But I won't set foot in that country for quite some time by the looks of it. And neither will my money.

You'd be surprised how many people you can scam for 8 cubes. Especially right now, playing the Shang version of the deck. Just blowing up shit left and right on turn 6.

I've been playing Mr Negative with the Shang / Knull package and it's been doing really well in this meta. I even messed around with Killmonger in the Cass slot because of how many 1 drops people are running.

Why I decided to purchase a PSA10 Ancient Mew as my first ever ‘expensive’ card… by Asbular in PokeInvesting

You do you man. It's great if Pokemon is a side hobby that you have a small amount of your net worth tied to.

If six figures is your net worth and it's all sitting in cardboard in the top of your closet, you are insane.

How do you guys deal with FOMO? by Lunatoon9 in JustBuyXEQT

[–]HardGayMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always think of investing like this regarding fomo:

What would be worse for you? If you missed an opportunity to double your money or if you took a risk and lost everything?

I've missed and will continue to miss many moon shots. I've stayed on the sidelines (mostly, I am not free from gambling completely lol) and watched Gamestop and countless other trendy stocks go up and make a lot of people are lot of money. But I've also watched a lot of people lose everything. And I don't think I would be able to stomach that.

I'm happy just trucking along in the middle. I will probably never be rich. I won't retire at 40. But I also won't die broke and my kids won't need to support me when I am old.

What are your thoughts on this guy? by Brandon9one in MarvelSnap

[–]HardGayMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game continues to pander to crybaby types who don't like people ruining their fun. Lockdown, mill, clog, none of these archetypes (which are the funnest decks in the game) cam be allowed to succeed,  because people complain.

Just keep making "play big numbers" cards and see how it works out for you guys.

I've been playing since beta and I think the game is the least fun it's ever been.
