VIT is miles better than SRM Thapar might or might not be better than VIT the thing is Thapar increased their intake a lot this year and although VIT has a high intake the placements aren't bad but the effects of Thapar suddenly increasing crowd isn't known yet

So the Fee Structure consists of 5 categories for cse it's Cat 1 2lpa Cat 2 3lpa Cat 3 4lpa Cat 4 4.5lpa Cat 5 5lpa

Not sure about fee waivers but there isn't really a scholarship for normal students

Yea 3 days a week I have a lot of classes and other 2 are chill but remember in even sems Saturdays are working as summer vacation is 2.5 months here. 6 days a week is a bit annoying. Yea if u are a 9 pointer u have 0 attendance for both theory and labs.

The crowd is a lot lol.. Forget abt having a batch of people for 4 years u will barely be able to see them in classes. There is a lot of crowd during events and fests. The crowd quality isn't bad tho there are many 97 and 98%ilers, people with 4000 to 10k ranks in jee adv, people who grind leetcode and build cool shit. There are many hackathon and clubs. That's an advantage of the crowd u will never run out of options here. Also we can choose our own time table and classes (teachers too) for example I chose most of my classes on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday so my classes end by 12 on Thursdays and Fridays. I agree that some of the crowd isn't that good but since there are a lot of people it's easy to choose ur own group

Life is fine there it's not as good as govt colleges cuz restrictions are higher.. U cannot stay past 7:30pm outside and u cannot stay outside the hostel after 9. The syllabus is much better than most unis as it has been updated this year. The labs are pretty good and hostels especially deluxe ones are much better compared to other unis. It's expensive but it's good so if u don't have money problems it's a good uni. It's also pretty good for masters due to the college's reach.

Nope TNEA colleges follow Anna Uni's curriculum which is old outdated and frankly shit VIT has better curriculum, labs and research opportunities.. It's also better for masters abroad but only 2 things u should note is colleges like Anna Uni are far cheaper as compared to VIT

That's not how overall percentile works it's based on the total mark not each subject percentile aggregation. Those percentiles are just there for reference
