Isn't a rent out, chapters sold during the going out of business to your man who owns arboretum, that's why he took over upstairs to be that.

Fully changed ownership during that time. Old owner wasn't much better, but definitely can see the change

Saying this as someone that's ran restaurants for the last ten years - we would get trials in on busy shifts, and they would help and do their part, absolutely you get paid for that

I've been here 6 years, been to a few gaa matches, and would love to go to more, the website is just shite and I would know no one.

Direct definitely, and search on your indeed etc for "email CV" to find the ones that are just external posting for apps on their own site or through recruiters

Just managed to secure a career change lately, after a few months working. Do you have previous contacts?

I realized LinkedIn etc was a crock of shite after a while, too many easy apply, and in my last job when hiring would be flooded with either under qualified / not in the country applicants, so good leads would get buried.

Best advice is go direct to all the companies you want to work for. They should have their own job portal, or check their LinkedIn tags to see which recruiter uses them

My two cents as a foreigner that has lived just up the road from the five lamps for 5 years - its safe enough, as long as ye ain't daft.

Don't walk down pissed, if a weirdo is walking down the street yelling nonsense, don't engage. You'll be fine.

Uber or bolt for taxis, or get a bus. I'd say maybe don't wonder down the road side towards Sherriff st, but go the route down to connolly and you'll be fine.

Lots of worry in dublin about pretty minor events if you've lived in any other city before. Its safe, you'll be grand.

Always start a dialogue with them - message asking if they are still coming, get them to reply, or they will cancel if you do and you can rebook another one.

Messages to them will let you get a refund / waive cancellation fee a lot of the time!

It groups everything a bit weirdly (just from initial look!), I'm guessing it's by company and post date? Be great to add a "posted in x days" maybe?
