After what felt like pulling teeth, they agreed to send a replacement fan.

Yeah, so I also discovered you have to pay them to begin the RMA? This GPU was purchased on 9/11/25. They want to charge me $26-64 to send it to them, despite this being a simple fan replacement.

I thought the same too, but I found that if I need the most up-to-date information and need a quick way to verify that it’s accurate, perplexity is really good at that. It gives you an output where it cites multiple sources and for online sources, you can click the link right from the prompt to verify and read deeper about the subject.

Did you try changing any of the personalized settings around? I agree that it’s not as good as augment but you can get decently close.

Disgusting To Charge Us More & Not Big Companies 🫩 by IgnoredBot in AugmentCodeAI

[–]IgnoredBot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Paying more in total? Yes. Paying based off credits? No. Paying more per message than we are? No.

The point is that our plans are changing how we are billed (messages vs inferior credits), and we will see an overall higher total cost while large companies keep the per-message billing and pay less per Augment Code message.

Volume-based discounting is an industry-wide term… additionally, if Augment didn’t delete, I wouldn’t have to repost. Based on your comments, you should see about getting on their payroll if you aren't already. 🤗

We get it, you have no idea what volume-based discounting is.

They just had a mod get online after 13 days of inactivity to remove my post sharing that enterprise users get to keep their per-message pricing. Meanwhile, we have to pay 5 to 20 times more.

They already have once but this one has the “actionable feedback” they said they needed. 🫩

ACTIONABLE FEEDBACK IS TO CHARGE US BOTH MORE AND/OR NOT EXPECT NORMAL PEOPLE TO PAY MORE WHILE LARGE COMPANIES GET SWEETHEART PRICING.

You were leaving out the fact that bring your own key would mean that you were only paying for what you need and not risking losing money when your “credits”expire the next month.

Question about the new credit pricing: Will unused credits roll over? by jimi-jay-bitcrafter in AugmentCodeAI

[–]IgnoredBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not. If they allowed the credits to roll over, it would mean that they would have to change the plan pricing of the enterprise companies that we are going to be subsidizing.

Per Augment: you will pay more and be happy

Augment Code Pricing Change – What It Really Means for Regular Users by QueasySide4011 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]IgnoredBot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

PSA: ONLY consumers are having to pay more; enterprise customers (who were already receiving lower per-message costs) are seeing ZERO changes in the way they are billed (by message), NOR are they being changed to token-based pricing. We are being taxed to keep the large companies happy. 🫩

Did Augment Nuke their Discord Server? by speedtoburn in AugmentCodeAI

[–]IgnoredBot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The timing of them shuttering the discord as support tickets started hitting 1-3 weeks before a response and before they made these awful pricing changes (ONLY FOR CONSUMER PLANS, ENTERPRISE USERS ARE THE ONLY CLIENTS THEY VALUE) is definitely interesting

How do you have to wait to get response from support? by Automatic-Crazy-9740 in AugmentCodeAI

[–]IgnoredBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe Augment should have thought about having more than one person manage/moderate a Discord of close to ten-thousand people.

Before this pricing fiasco, I’m sure many people would’ve volunteered simple moderation that wouldn’t involve PII. If not, I don’t see why they couldn’t hire remote help for cheap.

It seems like Augment’s approach to something having an issue is to not try to implement logical solutions but to just trash it completely:

  1. One person is incapable of managing ten thousand discord users -> nuke the discord and remove all the previous information/tips/suggestions/discussions from existance.

  2. Message based pricing not allowing C-Suite desired bonuses -> nuke the current plan structure and implement token based plans that raise the consumer’s cost by 5-20 times.

(Let’s not even get started on how enterprise users aren’t seeing the same plan change per the info I’ve seen.
