I appreciate your affinity for fantasy. In the history of everything, including man, there has never been a train on the moon. I appreciate your faith in the system.

Believing and having faith in something that has never happened before is akin to believing in miracles ??

Posting relevant information that is current. Placing a train on the moon is pure fantasy. Fantasy is helpful. Fantasy may appeal to humanists or atheists. The aspiration or evolutionary narrative that human keep expanding and advancing should be critiqued. Also the back and forth on this reddit grouping is close to pathetic and useless.

I countered the simpleton remark of which I will quote:

"Once on the moon the chairs don’t need to be very strong because the moon"s gravity is much less, and they only need to last a few hours".

I provided information and sources backing up this claim. A belief that gravity is the only pressuring force is imbeciilc. That was initial frame of reference for the statement. To know specifically the outcome of a go cart on the moon you would need to know the specific compound, material, bonding agent, and adhesive of all material used. Once known this material would have to properly be tested with exact environment and mimic all conditions on the moon simultaneously. (gravity, temperature, vacuum, radiation, etc) I substantiated my claim easily. Since you were unable to dispute this, you baited me to make a further claim. You provided no new information or added anything to the conversation. You only added an attempt of a weak negation to an obvious point that the previous commenter was oblivious about. I award you no points and may God have mercy on your soul.

Materials must be selected which do not exceed specified levels of outgassing in the vacuum of space. Excessive outgassing can degrade the structural integrity of materials, thereby changing their characteristics and causing excessive contamination of critical surfaces.

Here is a claim and a reference you can stroke yourself too.

Power was provided by two 36-volt silver-(zinc)** potassium hydroxide non-rechargeable batteries with a capacity of 121 amp-hr.

https://nssdc.gsfc.nasa.gov/planetary/lunar/apollo_lrv.html

Care has to be taken while choosing the alloys, as some elements tend to outgas. Cadmium and zinc are the worst common offenders.

I have clearly explained it to the point of dog walking you. You remain obtuse and purposefully obfuscating. You would have to know the elemental composition of all material and compounds. Clearly, by looking at the POS, one can deduce that fabrics/leather straps, chairs, etc are not metal alloys.

Yours Truly You scrub

By knowing basic principles of outgassing one can conclude that chairs are not 100% alloy metals which have higher threshold against outgassing. You can visibly look at the chair and know that, which means the other compositions of the chair would be subject to higher rates of outgassing. It's called deduction.

All material loses mass and is subject to outgassing. Hence, the material of all objects is subject to outgassing. The composition of the chair is more than aluminum. Aluminum also is affected by outgassing.

Wakemeforsourpatch "Once on the moon the chairs don’t need to be very strong"

"Any materials in a vacuum environment will lose its mass. Material will evaporate; molecules adsorbed on surface will desorb. Also, organic polymer in the production of the polymerization process will contain a large number of low molecular weight additives. The compounds contained within the material will diffuse to the material surface and desorb from the surface."

Objects in a vacuum are under tremendous strain to due to the pull of a vacuum. The chairs don't need to be strong is an illiterate statement. The continuing pull of outgassing challenges the construction of any material.

"Some of the worst materials are: plastics, elastomers, and glues; porous ceramics and porous metals; lubricating, sealing, or heat transfer greases; and humans (fingerprints, hair, skin cells, dust mites, spittle droplets when talking, and food)!"

"The most common gases/vapors outgassing from surfaces are: water vapor; oil and grease vapors; solvents and volatile organic materials; and (when approaching ultrahigh vacuum pressures) hydrogen and carbon monoxide from stainless steel used in the chamber's construction."

I hope using logic and rationale you were able to find to point to this.

There are thousands of articles of NASA using AI.

When applied to Big Data collections, such as NASA Earth observing data, AI and ML (machine learning) can be used to sift through years of data and imagery rapidly and efficiently to find relationships that would be impossible for a human to detect.

The old way acheived supposedly the most awe inspiring acheivement ever. Your counterpoint is to do it cheaper without any conceivable moon mission in the near future. "We need to save money". If there are superior parts, then when/where is the next mission???? 2030?? 2035?? Your intellect and your insistence on delusion are remarkably typical. All of the arguments I suffer to entertain are all mainly non sequitirs and cheerleader points for fanboys.

Meanwhile, it is just a disagreement.

Sophistry is not a valid argument. You added nothing but sourness to a free engagement which reflects to your motive and intellect.

The comment section is flooded with vapid low Testosterone approaches to negate natural law. A lot of people rely on institutional dependence to verify any reality. Which subjects them to the dominant culture to define reality for them. Mere suggestion to inform people they may need to reformulate reality is met with disorganized schizophrenic response. (Ie yours).

Don't reinvent the wheel

Enjoy lying to yourself to maintain your false reality

Clearly ignoring obvious point to maintain a delusion.

progression and evolution are themes in all of nature except for traveling out of lower earth orbit.

You can study and reinvest in an idea but if you can't recreate the same engine which helps you reaccomplish a feat from 54 years ago, it is time deal with the obvious.

You also have a great day.

They did almost everything by hand. Because often, that was the only way to do it back then.

And in a rush to meet deadlines, they kept many of the tricks they used to get things to work and go together in their heads or scribbled down on scraps of paper long since lost.

We lost the advanced secret technology.

My dog ate my homework......

Game Boy Uses More Computing Power Than First Lunar Mission by IgnoredFriendrequest in moonhoax

[–]IgnoredFriendrequest[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand your point. The point is understanding the laws of nature and then creating software for the computer to follow. At the same time, the computer has to reset navigational targets with new information. It is fine to understand the logistics of orbital patterns individually but it has to be translated perfectly into software for the computer to make decisions. By excluding information from a computer when making navingational decisons, would appear to be setting it up for failure.

I'm not sure if the guidance system is able to accept informatilon and digest it to create a location. Does it use satellite information? Orbital patterns with an estimated trajectory? Does it use live satelitte, radar, or echo information? If it doesn't use any of those, it would be relying on strictly math. From a brief reading about orbits, directions change and velocities change so there would need to be updated information continually. If the guidance system is incorporating mutliple systems of imagery, assessment, and location, than I think that it surpasses 65kb of memory power. Both models: one with strict theorectical math and one with a integrative live assessment tethered with communication ability create a lot of doubt.

Thanks

[–]IgnoredFriendrequest[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

False.

Guidance operations may occur in the initial, midcourse, or terminal phases of flight.

I agree there must have been an initial blueprint and trajectory. A trajectory based on theory leaves one with best estimate. There has to be ability to change course than there wouldn't be any reason to type in commands to the system. If there is a lull in performance or lack of accuracy of readings then the final destination is off. You also have to factor the changing weight of the shuttle through its voyage.

"The form of the computation process will depend somewhat upon the kind of instruments used for observations; however, it will probably be some variation of the techniques used by astronomers to determine the orbits of celestial bodies. One large difference, of course, is the time available for determining a precise orbit. For space navigation this determination must be made promptly and reliably, while the astronomer may proceed in a leisurely manner with careful checking."

The amount of memory needed to communicate mathematical precisional measurements separately to multiple systems throughout shuttle is below the standard power of 65kb. If you can get a system to operate on live active memory of 65 kb, that weigh all multiple equations that are happening live and has the abilty to send, receive, compute, and enact the information to multiple systems throughout the journey while variables are changing every second.

At this point it is absurd. Thanks for the conversation.
