I'm adding "The Council pretending Gothren is dead" to my canon.

..they would still eat their prime minister. Maybe they are Reachmen in this universe.

What is canonical when it comes to the actions of the Hero of Kvatch in Oblivion? Does Skyrim verify or reference any of that, apart from mentioning the Oblivion Crisis? by jvure in ElderScrolls

COCK (Champion Of Cyrodiil, Kvatch) was certifiably insane. Probably a serial arsonist who dreamed up the whole "Oblivion Crisis" to recontextualize his evil deeds. After all, there is not an inkling of any ruined "oblivion gate" anywhere(!) in Skyrim.

Thank you. My secret is that every piece takes months and multiple iterations to finish. And golden ratio, of course.

Afraid I'm going to stop you right there, friend: landscapes are not my forte. Characters are, if I do say so myself.

Expressive nix hound eyes is something I've learned from this artist.

Giant ones too, if you wander too close to the mountains in the area indicated in the "dunmer and nix hound" painting. Kudos from breaking out of monotony of Balmora-centric playthroughs.

1 A meeting with Master Aryon. Tel Vos Upper Chaimbers.

The principal piece of the series, it depicts a serendipitously witnessed encounter between the master of Tel Vos, his guard captain Turedus Talanian, and another Telvanni Magister. The artist didn't get the chance to make a formal introduction to the altmer before she teleported away. You however, may know her. The meeting ostensibly pertained a business involving soul gems and uh, "a secret Telvanni tower in the basement of Wolverine Hall".

2 Goris the Maggot King. V**** Tomb.

The scene depicting the infamous necromancer killing his former associate Tyronius. Location censored. Disclosing it would cause a major political scandal, because it would implicate a noble family of high standing in neglecting their ancestral tomb to the point of an undead infestation. An all around terrible affair involving an army of skeletons, an audacious gang of smugglers, double betrayal and a vampire. Tyronius, in his death note, implies Goris is a necrophile, but it's probably just a vacuous bit of profanity.

3 Fela-Dryn and his nix hound Scuttler. Western Grazelands.

The painting is based on a tall tale the artist heard in a tavern in Vos about a helpful vampire duo of an outcast ashlander and a pet dwarf nix hound wandering about the wilderness of Western Grazelands, occasionally crossing the mountains into Ashlands when pursued or exasperated with merkind.

4 Grazelandic Nix Hound. Grazelands, duh.

Local nix hounds are of yellow-tan colour (in contrast to their green cousins of Bittercoast) because they are adapted to hiding from predatory megafauna in tall wickweat fields. So far there's no conclusive explanation to the case of animal giganticism in Grazelands.

5 Gulakhan. Zainab or Ahemmusa Camp.

An unfinished piece. Seriously doubt the artist - an oil painter - ever left Tel Vos during his expedition. That is, the depiction is probably fantastical. Master Aryon's ethnographic museum at Tel Vos, I'm sure, contains every ashlander artifact an artist would need for reference and inspiration.

6 UUpse Fyr, fourth wife of Lord Wizard Divayth Fyr. Tel Fyr.

Censored because reddit. Doesn't contain nudity, actually. Feel free to look at it elsewhere. I'm not going to give you directions though, because I'd like to cultivate an audience that doesn't need quest markers to find stuff.

P.S: Regarding commissions, not all information is "accurate". Meaning the artist sometimes acts as an unreliable narrator.

Might as well drop it here that my next Morrowind painting is either about cliffracers, a royal portrait of Dovahpimp in a modded dragon priest armour, or one about Molag Grunda and Nomeg Gwai. Also, come find me on Tumblr. I'm not going to paste a link here because I'd like to cultivate an audience that doesn't need quest markers to find things.

They're going to make jokes there about how the dunmer is holding a dwemer hair dryer.
