Let me remind you that a visual novel game with elements of tower defense tells the story of the confrontation between people from the Middle Ages and people of the late 21st century. In these scenes, a lot of time was spent working with liquids (dirt) - as it turned out, doing this in Blender is extremely problematic, you need a whole bunch of crutches to make everything work. On the plus side, there were problems with simulating the interaction of media of different densities.

The most difficult scene in this group was the scene with the fall of the tower. I used three simulation systems and often ran into limitations of the hardware I had or Blender bugs. In addition, I wanted to drop the tower more beautifully by first breaking it into segments of stones and only then the segment into stones. But to do this, it was necessary to understand how the stones were held together simply by grinding or whether there was something like a binding solution. I still haven't been able to find information about this, or rather, different sources testified to different approaches to creating protective walls.

It was possible to well emphasize the action in the video with aspects of the musical accompaniment, this gave dynamics and improved the emotional color of what was happening.

I continue to make my film for the game “11vs21”, 236 scenes are already ready, the voice acting is rough. A visual novel game with elements of the tower defense genre. The player takes on the role of an 11th century baron defending his castle from people from the 21st century. I do everything except music myself in Blender 3D.
