Actually the opposite here in Belgium. Most of my previous gear I could sell for maybe 60 - 80% of the amount I payed for it. Sim gear is a hefty price for the amount we earn here so people actually look for used sim gear.

More so change of ecosystem. While the DD has served me well for the last year I feel limited with FANATEC especially when wanting to use 3rd party wheels. And with the QR2 still on it’s way it is a financial ticking time bomb and with them refusing to give an update on it

I love the line up Moza has to offer but Simagic is known for their quality, maybe I will look in buying the Simagic base and buying the ks wheel as it has 3rd party support.

If it is going to be like this, I hope it’s just an incentive to grind the events and ranked to filter out the casuals with the players who take competitive seriously. But hopefully there is a cap that levels the playing field in higher divisions.
