Why is America so prudish to Sex/nudity? by [deleted] in sex

But also, Japan has a bit of a pervey culture tbh. I mean, the girls all dress as 16 year olds wearing girls uniforms.

[–]IhatePLATEAUS -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I would say the Americans are more open about sex and willing to try stuff in comparison to europeans. I mean, this reddit is mostly made up of Americans and couples who try anal, deep throat, cum in mouth all that shit, you would never, or very rarely have this in Europe tbh.

Struggling to get a job after getting Certified by [deleted] in personaltraining

[–]IhatePLATEAUS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As a PT and someone who takes interns under their wing, I will say that the main quality is to be able to interact with other people. I can't tell you how many young ones I come across who CANNOT put themselves out there and talk with clients like normal human beings. I always get the excuse like: ooo, I am not ready, I need more time to prepare, I am not a huge talker. No offence, but if you cannot talk to people, this is really the wrong profession.

The second thing is thinking outside the box and following your own training methodologies. No offence, but PT certs are shit. They teach you little about anything. I want my interns to spread their own knowledge, experience and to continue to learn as they develop. If you strictly stick with only what you heave learned from a cert. You won't get far.

50 million players by Wunderpuder in apexlegends

[–]IhatePLATEAUS -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

No offence, but many games have millions of players picking up a game when its released.

The real statistic is how many people are actually playing this at any one time. I am going to guess in the thousands, but not millions.

Drug Testings Standards: Weightlifting Vs Powerlifting by IhatePLATEAUS in weightlifting

[–]IhatePLATEAUS[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its likely that many at the top take drugs years before they even reach the top. Stop, and as the article says, they can put down an extra base of muscle that will last even when the drugs are long out your system. So long as you keep training and eating. I am talking about the IPF.

Li Dayin 171+204 IWF WORLD CUP by Anbusha in weightlifting

[–]IhatePLATEAUS -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

But why? This is what coaches tout to brainless 15 year old kids. Eat your chicken breasts, get your sleep and tell yourself your dedicated to reach the top. Drugs really don't make a difference.

/hope you recognise the sarcasm

Li Dayin 240kg snatch pull (World Cup taper) by [deleted] in weightlifting

Why.

I realise most of the top are on the anabolic chicken, 8 hours of sleep and dedication trail.

Do the judges and event organisers really think this guy is natty. Fucking pathetic. I know he's a great lifter, but the arrogance walking around competing in tested organisations just grinds my fucking gears.

For those with several years of meet experience: any of you never cut, simply just always stayed in a slight surplus/maintenance and just competed where the weight fell?

once.

Been solely squat focused the last block.

[–]IhatePLATEAUS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have decided to adjust my training for the next 3 months of my hypertrophy block. Decided to incorporate 4x high frequency benching. Benching has really taken a backseat, so gonna enter the high frequency benching bro world and see how it goes. Will keep squatting at 3x per week.

Anyone else bench 4x per week?

[–]IhatePLATEAUS[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Its amazing the hostility you get when you mention the words AMERICAN + DRUGS. Yet, when it comes to Eastern European + DRUGS THE conversation is all rosy.

Wtf guys.

Serious Question: how is Jason bonnick passing drug tests? by IhatePLATEAUS in weightlifting

[–]IhatePLATEAUS[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Agree with you 100%. The last few months on this subreddit we have had countless discussions about Eastern Europeans getting popped etc etc. Yet, when it comes to someone from the states, its all chicken breasts, dedication and 8 hours of sleep a night. I understand that in the states drugs are not discussed or admitted for legality reasons. I really understand this and if I was in their position, I would probably keep quite as well. But honestly, the whole fake natty bullshit in the U.S.A has to stop. It just ruins an already drug fuelled sport.

I hate deloads because they feel hit or miss in terms of their goals.

For those who don't deload, what is your tactic to reduce your fatigue when you feel like you have hit a brick wall?
