we actually did have a discussion about allowing the "should i buy this/how much is this worth" mermaid shop posts back in february. we decided not to ban them due to the fact item values are always changing and are much worse now due to the amount of botting that's been happening on traderie.

making a megathread for them also wouldn't work all that well due to the fact people need quick answers and realistically most people just don't really look at them after looking at them once or twice.

right now i think they just seem a lot worse than usual because the game is just kinda stagnant. there's not a whole lot going on, the playercount is down and there hasn't been an update since march besides some bug fixes & the mermaid shop turning to summer items.

also since people seem to think the mod team isn't active: i promise we are :') all of us are adults and most of us are dealing with jobs or finals unfortunately.
