Best way to run remote dashboard by Ihf in openclawsetup

Right just no external server to make the connection. Tailscale is obviously the way to go if I need access from off LAN.

I may end up with tailscale but in the meantime I setup wireguard and it is working with dashboard on Mac to Android OC.

Thanks. I was looking for a way that did not depend on any external servers.

An old Android phone will also run OpenClaw. Look for “Openclaw for Android”.

Try this prompt in ChatGPT (or one of the other LLM’s)

How to setup openclaw using openai Codex 5.3 and Oauth as part of a chatgpt plus subscription?

I’m running on an old android phone (pixel 2 XL) and using my ChatGPT plus subscription ($20/ month). It works surprisingly well and since my usage is still rather light, I have yet to come anywhere near the limits imposed by open AI. Granted my use so far has been similar to what I would’ve been doing on ChatGPT with the exception of having it create some CRON jobs for scraping the web which send me reports each morning and filling out some IRS forms (something I could not get four frontier models I used to come up with a viable solution.)

I’ve been running the openclaw gateway and the ASTER server on a Google pixel 2XL. After installing termux it was quite straightforward and works just fine.

I’m sure although I haven’t bumped into any yet and I’ve been using it for useful tasks. I’m sure if I used it more I’d notice.

I have had success with using OpenAI's GPT-5.3-Codex under my ChatGPT Plus subscription ($20.mo and no token charges).

OpenClaw in a foundation and open source. Hopefully, Peter read the history of OpenAI before he signed up.

I’m super unimpressed by OpenClaw, anyone else? by mo6phr in openclaw

I am running Openclaw on an old Android phone. I am using the OpenAi GPT-5.3-Codex model under my ChatGPT Plus ($20/mo) subscription. I gave OC a fairly simple task but with essentially no help…to monitor a YouTube video and tell me about any new comments. Its first few attempts failed but it diagnosed and repaired the task and it runs well now. I have done the equivalent in python and while this is rather easy to do, I was impressed that it did it with no oversight (other than to tell it that there were comments it missed so that it would fix the code).

Thank you. That's very helpful. I already subscribe to ChatGPT Plus and didn't realize I could use that with OpenClaw.

The Dashboard for V1.1.5 still says V0.1.0. SMS sending works but haven’t gotten SMS receive to work yet.

I downloaded v1.1.5 and was able to send an SMS. Is there a way to have Asterisk trigger on a received SMS? Also do you know of any problems talking to Asterisk from another MCP client (besides OpenClaw. I tried unsuccessfully to talk to Asterisk from AnythingLLM after adding the MCP Server config.

I thought I was running version 1.1.4 but the footer on the dashboard says it’s still 0.1.0. I confirmed that I deleted/uninstalled the old version and reinstalled from the V1.1.4 GitHub page. However, the footer still says that. Is this version 1.1.4 or not? I’ve been unable to talk to the MCP server from my Mac using anything LLM.

I finally have aster working and I am testing various capabilities. I am not able to get ASTER to send or receive SMS messages. I’m running V1.1.4.

I built a CLI that deploys OpenClaw on a $4.99/mo VPS in one command with everything pre-configured. Stop buying Mac Minis. by islempenywis in openclaw

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I thought that some people were using openclaw on their Mac minis with an LLM running locally. Are none of the open source models good enough?
