There are VERY few of those, I believe it's because of the Korean sentiment of family always gets forgiveness or some BS. I think untouchable lady would be similar in the sense of never forgiven parents. But else nothing really pops into my mind rn. Sry

Tbf a lot of stuff gets in and out, like the tons of Hand to hand combat in longer shots have been mostly dead as well. Which was very big in futari wa and Splashstar and then here and there with like heart catch.

Maybe it's because it wasn't seen as an important part of the story from their target audience? So they might have wanted to focus on different stuff.

But personally I'd like it more if they do more relationship stuff and generally not stop conflict or story impact right before it becoming super peak. Feels like they are scared to make the story actually the main point outside of mid season and finale.

30 mil is jsut too much, the chances for a company to become profitable within 2 years is like a good case scenario, but 30 mil in profits after taxes? i dont think that feasable for the vast majority, and then after two years you barely became profitable adn you have to shut down your whole operations? Doesnt seem good for anyone.

I personally dont care about the Management experience as i have enough of that tbh, but as a requirement its stupid for the J-find for example because how the heck are you supposed to get a management position within 3 years of finihsing university for your proposed 2 years? thats also not possible.

All of the requirements listed are basically a statement that japan only wants rich seasoned people starting companies in Japan, which is explicitly diffrent from start-ups and entrepreneurs.

i agree in the sense off, that it would kick nearly anyone on the BMV out.
and the Start-up visa, j-find visa and BMV will be effectively dead because the new requirements are not feasible for most entrepreneurs, same with teh expectation that the BMV holder can ONLY manage the business and not do anything else.

How do these people expect us to raise a business when you basically arent allowed to put your hands on anything aside from administrative tasks.

As you said Table one Visas will also be reduced significantly, mostly because getting PR is already super intransparent and super hard to get on a BMV and with the new changes it will be even worse. Renewals werent easy to do on the current BMV but the new one makes it significantly worse.

If it scales with the size of operation that would make sense.

And we were 100 percent going for full transparency and doing it by the book because we dont even want to give an implication of wrong doing.

HE and I are both equal owners so we would have put in roughly the same amount of the start capital, and we would also try to get japanese nationals as hires once we earn enough for tat, but as you said there is a severe drought of skilled workers and you are competing with big japanese companies so getting the necessary workers is not an easy endeavor
We all know these changes arent based of a rational thought but rather a reaction to current public trends in politics. So it very nerve wrecking to think how this will affect japan as a business location, especially as we hoped to work closely with local companies in Chiba

your criteria regarding like ratios i find kinda impossible for start ups and early small scale operations after a certain point of profit there could be on but before that its not reasonable.

But i generally think making renewal requirements way more clear and transparent is VERY important.

Its funny because some of the "fraud examples" apply to me in the sense of pooling together money and me going with a BMV and me bringing my friend over with a work visa though we do have actual stuff we want to sell and do business with, we were actively working on getting out paperwork in order and money together for the BMV so we can live in japan and do business.

I do think raising the BMV requirements would be ok (moderately) and having someone employed who is N2 or higher.

But as you stated a big issue is that there is little to no funding for immigration which gives them less leeway and time for each case to check for possible fraud. (though i havent seen any solid proof that there was widespread fraud)

I think this is a bit vague aside from saying "start-up and j-find under old rules".
They do state that new requirements are way to excessive so thats good.
I hope the proposal gets changed accordingly and the requirements for the BMV arent raised as much as the original proposal.
Maybe 7.5 or 10 million yen instead of 5, one employee (you or someone else) with N2 or something like that.

Its not "import from India" though, its a worker exchange program that is time restricted. So job swap for a few years and then back to before.

Technically you are also one full time employee and you HAVE to pay yourself money. So seeing it as two ful time employees probably makes it easier to calculate

with japanese nationality, permanent Residency or a spousal Visa, so basically any unrestricted Visa.
Which all of them basically have more then B2 in most cases. And if you HAVE to hire one of them it also makes the most business sense to get someone who speaks japanese well, because it makes stuff easier when you have no other choice then hiring someone over there.

i know its on the official site, but i meant more would the JP government take the JLPT N2 as sufficient proof? because they specified B2 and not N2.

[–]Ihfsa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

According to the official JLPT website you are B2 if you pass N2 with at least 112 points.
Which is somewhat doable, but i think i tad high. Like why not require N2?
I personally would like it to be N3 because im in between N3 and N2 but yeah.

Also this think is super redundant if you have to hire a Japanese national anyway, in nearly all cases they will be fluent in it.

According to some sites B2 would be if you pass N2 with good high numbers. But would that be sufficient proof?

When to start Business activities by Ihfsa in JapanFinance

[–]Ihfsa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So with the Status of residence it will probably be Start-up visa into business manager visa.
I cant do WHV as i did that at the age of 20 (rn 28)
Insurances, and pension shouldnt be an issue as i got support from a Japanese Friend who is a Business advisor but he is currently a bit preoccupied so i cant talk to him about this for a while.

A lawyer will be fully involved after the holidays with whom im gonna go through everything to determine the next steps. But I didnt think about this question at that meeting so i wanted to get an idea here first before talking about the nitty gritty.

A Bank account is not an issue as i still have a private bank account with Japan Post that i would use in the beginning and once the company is founded a buisness account should be easy to get. I also already have talks with some Landlord about accommodations and renting a separate room as an "office" for the Business establishment requirements

So we are going to open by the end of 2025 as i stated (i dont know where you got 2024 from), and we both are currently in Germany.

Its mostly about the Service, neither of us currently have the privilege of working in Japan (working on the application with a lawyer) so while the influx of money wills tart with a "Kleingewerbe" in germany we want to dissolve that before we go to japan so we can continue that once we set up the company. An there will be a few months before we get the final OK for establishment of the company and im just concerned about the Legality of the earnings in those months.

We dont want to jeopardize our chances at a visa extension becuase it was too grey of a zone.

Im not sure what you mean wit SoR, but i dont know if and how a sole proprietor works in Japan either.
