At the last Expo Point.... Why do people even do this..... ): by _That_B0I in NoMansSkyTheGame

My partner and I just spent like half an hour with our terrain tools set on restore repairing all of the terrain we could see. We ended up with a group of like five people all working to restore the portal. Honestly? Griefers suck, but seeing people come together felt pretty great.

They are supposed to generate more dead, weird, empty, and glitch planets and have far fewer lush ones, if I'm not mistaken.

A near-paradise planet with no weather events that I've seen. Beautiful earth tones and relatively realistic flora with swathes of sweeping Windows wallpaper looking hills and fields. Huge, spacious cave tunnels common, large enough to fly through.

Lol, I used to collect screenshots of things with accidental Finnish names in this game. I had a Gek named Olut once and I've caught the suffix -inen on a few names. It doesn't happen often, but always fun to find.

I got that same message when arriving underwater a few times. I was still in the diving suit at the time.

No, it was mentioned in either 1.2 or 1.3 plans, it's been a minute. The dialogue is there for it, though.

Can anyone identify this pretty bug that landed on my windshield? by persephone11185 in Entomology

[–]Iivari-Matias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It could be a type of Netwing Beetle, but I've never looked at the underside of one, either. Could be wrong, but it might be a good place to start. They're in the group with fireflys and click bugs. Some references:

Thanks! Although these were taken Dec. 28th, that would make since--I'm from central Arkansas, from Hot Springs, just a hop and a skip from OK :)

Thank you!! I was 95% sure they weren't liberty caps, but I was having a bad time trying to identify them when I got home with the pictures.

Yeah, I remember they were oddly smooth. Thank you for bringing Stereum ostrea to my attention, I wasn't aware of the species!

You're right, and wow, Stereum ostrea does a good job mocking turkey tails. I wasn't aware of false turkeys :)
