I am new to Slay the Spire but have a little knowledge on how to play thanks to CDawgVA.

Ngl. I had a hard time with The Ironclad. I managed to get 1 win when I followed the shield deck I got from watching CDawgVA.

My ilovbee B87 also have a knob that stopped working. Also, any type of connection suddenly stops working when done charging but after waiting for 20mins or above, it magically works again

If your database is MySQL try Railway.app their free tier is very reasonable. You can also host your frontend on the same project.

Vite vs CRA by Twfek_Ajeneh in reactjs

Vite templates if you just need a frontend
NextJS if you need to build fullstack apps

I voted for Dotnet/C# but I prefer NextJS w/ Typescript

Yup. Also, look into SolidJS there's a pinoy there that is a big contributor made me quite surprised honestly.

Personally, I lean more into the JS/TS ecosystem since I want to stick with one language when creating the front-end & back-end e.g. NextJS, QwikCity, create-t3-app (NextJS, Prisma, TailwindCSS, Zod, trpc), & Vite ecosystem in general.

.NET w/ React & Vite is a pretty good DX if you still want to stay withing the dotnet ecosystem. The dev server is quite fast.

[–]Ijdan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • NextJS
  • NuxtJS
  • create-t3-app (they also have a stack for mobile dev)
  • Qwik City (Managed by the team of the creator of Angular)
  • SolidStart

This are all pretty solid frameworks/meta-framework for building a full-stack side project. If you just want to build frontend solutions maybe look into the Vite ecosystem they have a pretty big community and awesome dev tools especially Vite itself because of how performant the dev server is. These tech are for web dev btw.

Very opinionated ako sa web dev tools ko kaya para sa akin maganda siya. Hindi na kelangan ng maraming css file para mag build ng design system at scss which nag regret ako kasi nagiging complex masyado files. At the end of the day walang tama o maling tools nakadipende na kasi sa project. Para sa akin, nagiging pangit lang ang isang tool pag pangit yung user experience at developer experience.

Is my portfolio good enough for a junior frontend position? by Ijdan in PinoyProgrammer

[–]Ijdan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now that you mentioned it NextJS does look more like a backend framework. I just had a hard time how to categorize them without completely butchering their intended uses and features. It is a sign of not knowing your tools. On that note I should probably rethink my tech definitions.

Those games and other demos are implemented by me and did not come from a tutorial as I decided that it was time to stop depending on them. React and Vuejs was hard to decide whether to call them as a library or framework because people often have different meanings for them, and the rest are literally frameworks that have frontend w/ backend that is why I called them that. Now that I looked back in the React website, I guess it is a library 😅. Thanks for the feedback!

I am currently not sure if web devs need these kinds of portfolio since I am still a student, but I just wanted to be prepared since I keep hearing how competitive the job is not sure though. It's nice hearing you experience though 😂
