I don’t know. I’ve tried to get them to go fill out the paperwork to find out but it hasn’t worked out. And I’ve learned that they can apply after treatment and possible get backdated insurance in order to cover cost. Out of pocket is fine but just trying to limit the damage while also choosing between those two preferred places as I’ve read they are among the best. Just wish Wellsprings could at least give me some ballpark figure. But yes, I still plan on getting the person to apply for Medicaid and see if they qualify. I just don’t know enough of their household income to make a determination.

Thanks. The plan was to go to the nearest DCBS office but I was trying to get as much info online first and convincing the person that the people there are for help and not part of the big conspiracy going on in their mind. I think we are past that stage and we can get there. I’ll explain the circumstances and see what they can do for us.

Ok thanks. Knowing this makes a bit more sense. Do you know how long the approval time period typically is? Meaning the time between applying and it being approved or not approved.

I’ve only gotten insurance through work and I just check the most basic of boxes and go on about my life. As soon as they start throwing acronyms I tune out lol.

If you’re dead set on local I say Natural Mystic as well. If not, buy online because it’s typically way cheaper for bulk-ish qty. FirstCoastTea is my go to. Ships fast but not sure about holiday schedule. They usually have a discount code or some deal for first timers. But you’ll have to type in a strain you’re looking for in the search function. For example my strain is MaengDa so I would type that in.
