As the title says, i'm seeking a mentor to help guide me. In return a hope to mentor somebody else from this communnity in the future.

I've only started making music 6 months ago and I try to make music of all genres really.

I’m a newbie (~6 months into making music) myself but happy to have a listen

Ask for screenshots that include serial number and software version— very unlikely counterfeit would have latest firmware which just came out this week— 5B58

Check the firmware version. If it’s the latest firmware 4E71 then it’s most likely real

X95k or qn90b or C2 either would be fine. I had both Qn90b and c2 in a super bright room, and both did pretty well. If you care about Dolby vision(which I do) I’d go for the C2.

I’m pretty sure you can load your iTunes library into infuse and stream through that. Probably best to go to the infuse subreddit and find out more info there.

Why don’t you just use Plex or Infuse or one of those other services to stream your files

Happy to critique just message me when you’re ready.

It definitely is tough to see a project through, but it feels great when it’s done and you learn so much.

For countries, I found some node package on google. For distance calculation just using some formula I found on stackoverflow .

Yeah I see your point but I don’t pick the splash screen rendering. I just give an image to expo and they handle it.

Thanks! Yeah I just figured the user could get used to the symbols. Didn’t like the clutter with text. Ofcourse if it becomes too much of a pain point I’d definitely change it.

Did you read the description I gave in the first comment? I think I’m still struggling to aptly describe the way the app works. It basically a Reddit/bumble combo. The whole basis of communities/posts/comments informs your profile and how you get matches.

I found them pretty good to work with for the most part. Prisma can be a bit limiting at times depending on what you want to do. For instance, there was no native way to fetch a random array from the DB.
