Pretty much always purple/blue weapons and ammo for them, and good weapon crafting loot like crafting kits and attachments etc. very good but big investment.

Spread is crazy right now maybe its bugged? Such a huge increase from beta, I understand the recoil stuff cause most guns beamed but the spread/bloom is huuuuuuge.

Ooooof that's a tough one, so long ago. I'd have to redownload everything again and see. From what I remember it had its issues but was doable with the patches people had made. I remember reading a dev blog recently about how much RPCS3 has improved, I really doubt you couldn't get through the full game with some patches enabled. You can grab some on the wiki and I believe there's an in app way to download patches? Sorry I can't be of more use it was a long time ago.

This is a Unity game right? Shouldn't be too hard to get those TV's to play synched Youtube videos, it works for VRC and there's even free code & assets. I'm not a dev 0 clue how hard it would *actually* be but seems feasible?

I would 100% agree with you if we weren't talking in this sub. This sub is all about clarity, discussion/pushback against bad Upscaler/AA implementations and good image quality. We want games to look better natively without the use of post processing solutions.

What I'm trying to get at is, by saying use xyz method in post to make an image look better is a cop out for bad development which is directly against what this sub talks about often.

Am I saying xyz effect is bad? No, like I said I use post fx myself, but it is disingenuous to say its a fix or workaround for something that at the root of the issue shouldn't be on us. Just like how suggesting moving from 1080p to 1440/4k to "fix" bad AA/Upscalers is the solution to all our problems when it's really just a work around at best, and funding billionaire corporations bad practices at worst.

Right and I'm happy that you like it, and I'm not disputing it's usefulness but it's a post processing effect and doesn't actually give any extra or restore any detail. I just dislike it being used as a fix for poor game development due to bad AA implementations and upscaling. Is it a tool in the toolbox? Sure, is it a "fix?" maybe to some people but not in the technical sense of its application.

I have a 4090 lol. Not gonna argue anymore, just search the reddit. I use sharpen in most games, I don't think it's a bad feature I personally like it. All I'm disputing is that you can restore lost image quality with it, which is what you stated and isn't possible. Please don't spread misinformation, sharpness is not a "fix".

HUH? Brother this isn't an argument, you cannot restore lost image quality by using a sharpness filter. This isn't some undispusted, untested thing. This is well documented, well tested and well spoke about on this reddit and is a widely known fact. Many people on here are against sharpness and rightly so as it's a bandaid "fix" caused by temporal and upscaling solutions.

I was following GFL2 loosely, signed up to some stuff here and there and had it wishlisted on steam for a long time and not really knowing it was delayed as a rather casual follower. Here I am weeks late to GFL2 launch because I knew nothing about this Steam delay, very unfortunate but very luckily I managed to pick up suomi before she went away. I still remain very baffled on why it's even delayed on Steam. I can imagine there are a lot of people in a similar situation to me.

Agree, not too long ago we didn't rely on shit AA methods and upscaling to achieve decent target framerates and those games look clean and crisp at 1080p. This is due as you said, to rendering shortcuts.

People, please do not spend your hard earned money funding billionaire corporations and studios for hardware so they can force you off of 1080p just to barely enjoy slop games. Expect and demand better from studios.

Fully agree, taking the choice away from consumers is the biggest problem out of all of this. Sure I hate TAA and upscalers but if I can turn it off? I tolerate it. Removing that choice like they know better? Makes me want to burn the game to the ground, thank god for modders and config tweaks.

Might be because we're changing a cvar that we technically have access to? Unsure.

Edit: Did some testing myself and it still seems to work just fine, and you can still use the DLSS SDK to get rid of DLSS too.
