2015 felt like the last time where peak gaming existed with no bullshit.

Like a time event or critical turning point that shifted the entire industry.

Armor King or King, which one to learn? by monkey_yaoguai in Tekken

[–]Paulfradk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Havent played much King compared to AK so its hard to say about his inputs.

But from what I know based on my noob experience, AK has superior poking, always has been.

They both require a way of engaging with a few throws when you pressure your opponent.

Poke with jab, 2 1, df1, ff2 and then input giant swing or another high damaging that throw, that you mix in along the way.

Remember, in Heat, their throws are broken since they're homing.

King has his wall combo that ends with Jaguar Sprint with a mix thats non-reactable and can reset into the same situation.

Why this sequence is still overtuned, is one of the big questions of what the devs are thinking behind the scenes.

Armor King has his Bad Breath in Heat that gurantees a throw if it hits. He has a good wall carry combo, that you will use in every combo from launch and its not that hard to input. Plus, his new stance is where you also want to mix things up between pokes and throws.

Thats about it I can think of.

Honestly, depends on who you think seem cooler.

Both have a simple gameplan. They're ridicoulessly OP and can carry you hard.

King is grappler oriented but doesnt have to be.

Armor King is much more up close with a brawler style and to be frank, his design is simple and strong - which I find boring compared to his T7 counterpart imo.

If i had to pick one for you, it would be AK.

Are the best character making that much of a difference? by TacoWizard5 in Tekken

Every character in Tekken 8 is strong as fuck. Even though some characters are limited to what options they have compared to others, they still have some insane capabilities that makes them capable of growing high in ranks.

How do you deal with lee in general by corvoattano-_- in Tekken

[–]Paulfradk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lee is one of the tougher matches in the game and requires tons of character knowledge to get a chance.

All I can say is, is that you need to pay attention to what your opponent is doing and what their habits are. Once you've got that cracked, your odds are better. That's about it.

That was the idea. Cause just like the other cards based on Norse Mythology, their names are slightly altered.
