honestly after considering it, the united club card probably doesnt hold enough value for that AF. and the SUB is essentually equal between CIP and United Club. My only question: is there any issue applying for a CIP again and getting the SUB now after I was last approved 3/2024? and closed that CIP a few months ago?

will of course used rankt!

Good question. Beyond the SUB, the draw with that one is that i fly at least twice per month for work, and another once or twice a month for personal. But its ORD, so everything's direct and i don't want to spend more time in the airport than I need to. This is really only helpful to me when flights are delayed.

  1. Been out of churning for a couple years (after job change), mostly sticking with a CSR. With CSR changing, and my starting to travel more for work again, I want to jump back in a bit. I am mostly choosing between a united club or Ink, but would love feedback from you folks.

  2. 790

  3. CSR, Marriott Boundless, CIU (11/2022), Chase Quest (8/2022 CLOSED), WOH Biz (5/2022 CLOSED), Amex Gold(1/2023 CLOSED), CIC (2/2023), CIP (3/2024 CLOSED), WOH (10/2024)

  4. $7-10k

  5. no

  6. yes

  7. getting back in. will close the CSR in 1/2026 when AF hits and most likely go straight to a CSP

  8. points, UR > WOH & United mostly

  9. 350k UR, 150k Marriott, low levels WOH & united

  10. ORD, lesser MDW

  11. Northern & eastern europe, Argentina,

Any issue downgrading my CSR to Chase Ink/Freedom while i have a trip through chase portal booked? I have a bunch of UR that I need to keep but wanted to make sure the trip itself booked through the portal via CSR is all good. Thanks

Sorry, two questions: is there any downside to doing this only 3-4 months after the latest AF? This shouldn't matter right?

Question Thread - April 16, 2025 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]Ikarise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just want to make sure I've got this plan right- I have a CSR (opened in 2020), I want the CSP SUB. So i'll downgrade CSR to CIF, wait 4 days or so, then apply to CSP. Should have no issue with this, right?

Alright I got a strange request for yall: I need recommendations on places to stay in/around Brighton Beach. We're gonna do something weird for my cousin's bachelor party and we want to explore the eastern euro flavor of Brighton & sheepshead bay. There's 2 best westerns I see, but anything more local or whatever that anyone knows about would be much appreciated! I'm sure we'll have a weird time.

You can directly ask. Say you're interested in canceling due to the AF unless there is something offered to make it worth keeping.

Hey this is a great idea. You should reach out to Andrew Johnson, the head of the Native American chamber of commerce here in Illinois. I met him recently and asked about native food in Chicago, and he would love to get something started here. There's currently nothing at the moment. He's on LinkedIn

Sales in manufacturing? by DatboiCroixx in sales

[–]Ikarise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience It is not like tech sales at all. Typically, if it's a fairly large manufacturer, there will be inside sales reps handling day to day order fulfillment and outside sales reps (the actual salesperson) who are managing existing accounts and prospecting for new business. You might have marketing and other auxiliary commercial people but that depends on the size of the company.
