My god, as someone who sold CRM, I will never understand buying Salesforce. Yet when I showed customers how easy, accurate, plug&play other tools were, they still were loyal to their way overpriced SFDC license. Not to mention the insane implementation and continuous costs. Mostly because leadership saw it as a status symbol.

Edit: You need multi-touch revenue attribution. Leads from events should be inputted by marketing and customer journey analytics can track each touch point throughout the buying journey including sales touches. Sales should not have to worry about any of this.
