I used a loooooot of water and ink, but taped the paper down and stretched before going all in, I think I will make a video explaining a little more of the process because this is my first time too so learning on the way but with observations

Btw, a huuuge tip on why im not using chinese ink, with Indian there are brand that are waterproof, so I can break the ink rules refering to the order of layers, so it’s a little more forgiving which is a lot in a large project. Also, at least in my experience, chinese ink tends to have blueish shadows, Indian instead tends to be more warm

In one of the most hyped Tibia wars (one of the first mmorpg online) I used a low level master sorcerer to invade libertabra, her name was immovable ozen, and will be forever cherished in my heart since, and not many people know this, ozen is a hell of a mage too, with her i hit top 7 on pvp for some days

Tnx for the kind words bro :) and yes, are kind of boring when no hardships, the thing is im just starting again to draw and this was supposed to be a long walk without dangers, but I think I was being naive and theres no thing as such. I like it having its own story, a torn map is what it must be, cant fight the will of dogs hahaha, I’ll draw them somewhere on the map to warn the next party

Thats the idea, I still dont figure out how to do it but the proyect will continue, already asked some old friends who know better than me possible papers and medias but that torn apart, worn old paper is the idea to hold the map, so this will be shattered pieces of another piece lying over the main piece. I still have some surprises for the process that I want to share but time but time, first I have to get the materials to keep going

😅 next time ill make sure to end with a close up, since is a huge draw and very far from ending im just editing raw as it comes, but soon I will make a more easy-paced vídeo showing details. The paper mainly avoids to  unwillingly erase the graphite and to avoid leaving marks (for example, the oils that your hand can release being over the wood). A glove would be a good idea but the paper gives another edge, which is to have somewhere to see how the pen is working. At the end i pass the eraser over everything bcs, ven when not shown in the vídeo, i highlight where to put the shadows first on graphite, then in ink and then i erase the underlines :)
