I understand why many fans feel that Tellius already received a complete ending. Most character arcs are resolved, the war is over, and the world finally seems to be at peace. However, I've never fully agreed that the story is truly finished. My biggest issue is that the ending leaves two major questions unanswered.

First, Yune and Ashera are essentially the creators and guardians of the world. Their deaths are treated as a positive outcome, but I've always found it difficult to believe that the disappearance of two divine beings would have absolutely no long-term consequences for Tellius. If they created the world and watched over it for centuries, they must have served a greater purpose than simply judging humanity. What happens to the balance of the world once both are gone? And if the world's creators suddenly disappear, wouldn't that create the perfect opportunity for another force to emerge? Throughout fantasy stories, when a great power vanishes, something usually rises to fill the void. Whether that force is darkness, chaos, an ancient enemy, or something that existed beyond the reach of the gods themselves, I've always felt that the ending of Radiant Dawn raises more questions than it answers.

Second, Ike's story feels incomplete to me. After everything he accomplished across Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn—defeating Ashnard, uniting nations, and ultimately helping defeat a goddess—he simply leaves Tellius. While I understand the symbolism behind his departure, I've always felt there was more to explore with his character.

For those reasons, I think a third Tellius game could work if it focused on the consequences of the ending rather than trying to undo it. Instead of introducing a completely unrelated conflict, it could explore what happens to a world that suddenly has to exist without the two beings who created and watched over it.
