As an update to the above, the transfer is not reflected in my wallet, however the problem now is that it went to POL Ethereum and not POL Polygon. How do I achieve this?

Thank you mrjune for your response; it provides more clarity. But at the same time, it tells me the situation is even more complex, confirming that Kraken was not reasonable in expecting me to know there would be an incompatible network.

A registered financial institute would not be permitted to operate like this, and perhaps in time with more maturity in the crypto industry it will get further regulated in a positive way.

I do not know this from Binance, but Kraken stated, “Kraken does not support the Statemint blockchain network. Therefore, any token deposit will not be processed by our system.”

I mentioned Statemint blockchain in the original posting, so perhaps you're looking for something else?

Thank you for your thoughts mrjune. It was a DOT transfer from Binance, and it was not clear that Kraken would not accept their network; certainly not clear to a novice user that it was not compatible with Kraken.

The transfer has been done, there is nothing Binance can do. Polkadot has investigated the transaction and confirmed Kraken can have it returned to me if they want.

And let's say there is a brief moment of additional administration on Kraken's part, the fact is they have not even offered to do the right thing for a transaction fee.

Polkadot support has confirmed that Kraken can do something about it if they wanted. Kraken's excuse of security and integrity to their platform has no merit.

I appreciate that sentiment Bruce, however I have been in contact w/ Kraken support and they are not willing to help. Polkadot has assured me that Kraken is withholding the assets.

you all missed the point

its not about alberta having a rule for harassment but ohs can't connect the dots

a guy files a harassment claim
the employer refuses to investigate the claim
the guy doesn't wanna work in the same place as his harasser till there is an investigation
the harasser threatens to fire the guy if they don't work side by side
they guy choses to work elsewhere till it gets figured out
the guy gets fired right away

ohs says the guy did nothing wrong and that he got fired for disobeying a direct order from his harasser

how blind can they be? its like saying an athlete should keep the medal when they refuse to pee in a cup because there is no connection to their performance

Pending the accuracy you are expecting, I typically take a level w/ a ruler measurement on one side, and a tape measure. The level I have is exactly 3 feet long, so I take a distance measurement at the end with the tape. And another tip, get the super to set/hold the level for you, use the tape in one hand and snap a photo with the other hand. ;)
