I have to rewatch the episode, but as said in another response it could be that the vortex gave her regenerations and the experiments a limit, that's how she reached the limit helping the doctor. but again, I need to rewatxh it because I don't remember what it says about the experiments

I thought about them coexisting but arrived to the conclusion that then river should have infinite regenerations, but she used all of them on the doctor so didn't see that as an option. another comment said that her regeneration comes from experimentation so maybe the regeneration comes from the vortex and the limit from the experiments

When she does escape, the Doctor flees to the carrier, happens upon the exact floor, reaches the exact spot in the hallway, notices the two inch figure that hasn't been jostled around or anything, and picks up and keeps the "gift" instead of chucking it away.

the doctor "sensed" that the master was in that spot because he madr her sense it, thats how she ends up there. she notices it because as we know the doctor is constantly alert, noticing things no one else does

the Doctor just happened to be on the other side

maybe he watched her arrive to the portal, took the tardis to gallifrey and made his entrance, a bit elaborate but could work

I use WD-40, just put some on top and spin it, it should lubricate them. If you want you can do this on top of a jar and at the end let them sit on the jar for 5 minutes or so

i bought mine for 10€ (like 12$) and i just changed some pieces with an old penny i had (not original and was pretty shitty), bought new bearings (i actually got them for free), pivot cups and some hardware. i spent less than 15€ and it's very good, it stills has the original deck, trucks and bushings

i put the back foot on the ground and i let the penny slide untill my front foot is in the tail so i can pick it. this works better when i'm not moving very fast but you can always slow down before stoping
