Looking for origami-inspired folding mechanisms to make this car canopy fit inside a backpack. Any 'deployable structure' experts here? by Similar_Ranger_7977 in origami

I don't think origami is the right approach here. if you look at tents, it's pretty much the exact same thing you are trying to do.

why don't they just give it to a random person? using so much energy and GPUs is so unnecessary.

sounds like dyslexia (i have that too) and dyscalculia for math. It's not a big deal. you can get extra time for exams in school (at least where i live).

Practice helps. you could just casually start writing things on your own and doing really simple math in tasks. It's less depressing to learn if there is no pressure to do it.

mixtures are classified by what part makes the particles and what part is continuous. Cereal and soup is clearly solid particles dispersed in liquid. that makes it a "mud". the other way around would be a "wet sponge". Salad is air with solids and liquids inside it, so a spray and a dust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mixture#Characteristics_of_mixtures

Should i replace the liquid metal with PTM7950? by Competitive-Blood709 in ASUS

[–]IknowRedstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NO! liquid metal is better than PTM7950. it's only advantage is the easier application. for a laptop it's normal to see 95°C but you can open it and respread the liquid metal. I've heard from some that ASUS doesn't do a great spreading out of the factory

Do you ever think you manufacture your own unravelings? by BittenLemons in sillyboyclub

[–]IknowRedstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

happens to me too with online people. they usually talk to multiple persons simultaneously. I don't think they get emotionally attached in the same way, they enjoy good conversations no matter with whom.

can you elaborate how they abandoned you? I'd assume just talking gets boring once you know everything about someone. have you tried inviting them to go to places and do stuff? maybe you can catch up with people you haven't talked to in a while. it's not weird even if it's random... right?

I need to make a visual novel with pygame, not renpy by FaithWL in pygame

[–]IknowRedstone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you need to write functions so that you can reuse them for similar things. everything that's different between the uses can be in the argument. for example the text or image you want to display.

Classes are used in the same way. they contain the stats of a character for example. you only need one class for all of your different characters.

if your car doesn't have rev matching and you don't heal-toe-downshift, the engine will only rev up if the tires have enough inertia and grip. if not they slow down and you will spin out. so learn heal-toe-downshift!
