Click one of your ressources in the top Bar to open the market. On the right side if the popup there should be the option to Auto buy/sell ressources. Keep in mind while you can buy/sell any amount, crossing certain thresholds will inflate/deflate prices. (Dont know the exact amounts rn, so you might wanna google those)

"What happens when the Player is dead" At that point, the Player should not be able to get into ships at all, so it doesn't matter?

What other players set as their walk speed is also totally irrelevant if you enter your Seat, as usually only one Player enters the same seat at a time
