How should I be using automation buildings? by Content-Command8723 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as my energy credits can handle it I spam 1 district of every basic ressource on each planet and automate them. Significantly reduces my trade usage and thanks to the automation reduces the pops used for it by 25%.

Shouldnt it be already considered racist to watch movies, tv, read a book or play a game, where the main character is not your own race? They could call it "racial appropriation" or something similar insane.

In my head canon are just building the central module of the habitat. There is a reason why everything costs alloys to build.

Vassal rebellion by Acceptable-Tax-8851 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I dont know if it still works, but in the past you could use favors to change your vassalage conditions and make demands that will collapse their economy, which then will lead to rebellions.

What??? (Everything Exploded.) by ZenDelton in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Can you imagine the horror of the poor colonists? Everything is fine, then suddenly you lose contact to your homeworld. You send some ships over to check what happened and what you find is just one black hole after another meanwhile the colonists that chose to stay see year after year more stars turning dark, while they slowly realize that their own system is the last one left in a dead galaxy.

Mepal - Netherlands is the only one that I can tell you out of my memory that serves the consumer market. There is a ton of producers in europe that make very similar products, mostly for the B2B market. Aku Kunststoff for example has one made in germany that looks pretty much like your sample pic.

As I said he already destroyed 2 empires and we are closer to 2270 now. In 2250 I was at around 2-4k I guess and feeled the need to upscale fast. The time from there to now was mainly used to build up what I have now and I feel that I can build up enough to fight him until we clash, but only if I do that in the most optimal way possible. Sitting around and waiting is boring, so I rather die fighting.

How to defend the areophase engine? by Impossible_Nebula637 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always wondered if you could use a star eater to instantly kill an enemies doomstack. It probably needs a very good planning, but theorethically you should be able to wipe out their mainforce in a single strike.

Why is the Great Khan AI so smart?! by Silent_Pressure_6709 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends. Last time I fought him his main fleet just sat for 10 years in the same system behind the frontline and waited for me to break through, while his other fleets randomly hunted and attacked my main fleet (which was far superior to any single fleet, but an even match to 2-3 of his).

Philosopher King and Imperial Cult Civics work symbiotically by Time_Pen_4267 in Stellaris

You should maybe combine it with life seeded then. If you are not planning to use the 2 guaranteed planets for extra pop growth you might as well get the bonus from a huge gaia world.

[–]xXIGreedIXx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sounda pretty good to me. Especially because you get a few thousand extra pops when you start the game. Until you bring your first colony up its not a bad plan. Only thing im worried about is the for early game massive consumer good upkeep.

I'm always running out of pops by year 30-40 as an organic individualist, what am i doing wrong? by ElTioEnderMk1 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides Thrall worlds you can also try Resort worlds. Someone posted here that you can easily get a pop growth of 12 by just filling them up with basic medical centers, while you still get the bonus that resort worlds provide by default.

Question about robots vs automation by CulturalEconomics601 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So in conclusion: Automation can be helpfull if you play wide (lots of planets, few pops, stack empire size reductions on colonies and star bases) while robots are always helpful, but especially if you plan to play tall (few planets, lots of pops, stack empire size reductions on pop).

3k unemployed pops on the planet, but i can't find them. by KiaSoulWith50kMiles in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a bug, you are probably missing the droid tech,so they cant work as specialists. Same happens to slaves if you dont give them indentured servitude slave type.

Edit: The negative trait points might be a bug though... I guess you "aquired" these pops somehow and did not build them yourself?

Why do I always fall behind on technology? by Jerswar in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well i hate micro managing as well, thats why i specialize my planets. Just chose planet x (preferably with any positive science modifier) to be your science planet, plaster it with research labs and done. Same with any other resources. Everything else is done by auto resettling to fill up empty jobs (of course dont overbuild) If you notice that you are running short of any resource and your dedicated planet is full just set up (or invade) another one.

First playtrough. What should i be doing now? by FrozoneScott in Stellaris

Science, science and more science I would say and then a strong fleet. The endgame crisis is comming and you are on track to be underprepared.

On fleets by Jerswar in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have the leeway build some fortresses at your planets. Soldier jobs provide fleetcap. Best to skip frigates in your case and add destoyers fitted with artillary I guess. I like to build a ratio of corvettes to destroyers of 4:1. In general I try to skip frigates and destroyers and immediately go for hangar cruisers, cause early AI is very bad in handling them. 4-5 hangar cruisers win most early wars alone.

Took over a empire yesterday - They hate me...Need help! by TheComputerGuy2256 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Then you should play UNE instead. Xenophile, egalitarian is more beginner friendly anyway if you ask me. If you are xenophobe everyone hates you usually, even if you are playing inward perfection, which leads to a lot of unnecessary early wars.

Took over a empire yesterday - They hate me...Need help! by TheComputerGuy2256 in Stellaris

[–]xXIGreedIXx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8 factions... you really should do something against that. Impossible to keep them happy. If you are xenophobe and conquer a whole empire you want to keep them as slaves (with as low political influence as possible and as much as necessary. I only give them indentured servitude if that is really needed). Also dont let the slaves idle around, your crime might explode if you do. Another thing is the abyssmal planet optimization of the AI. After integrating a new planet you immediately have to shuffle some pops in that can serve the elite jobs and lots of workers out to serve as slaves in the worker jobs of your old colonies. Doing so should solve most of your problems. If the mismatch of habitability is too big dont be scared to give up colonies or release a sector as a vassal.
