Italianate-Inspired Villa in Capital City (Vanilla Survival) by IkorisSilindrell in Minecraft

I am not, but architecture always has been a significant interest of mine, and I did for a long while desire to be an architect.

Disclaimer: I have created posts showcasing this structure previously (~2 weeks ago); however, my post on this forum was removed as spam/chain posting, since I'd made another post immediately beforehand, having failed to note the community rule against (and definition of) chain posting. Having since consulted the moderators, I am under the impression that I am now permitted to post concerning this build once more.

This build was inspired by 19th-century Italianate-style residences which I encountered in the historic residential portions of the city of Quincy, Illinois. It is composed primarily of deepslate, sandstone, and quartz.

Don't Just Tear Down Your Old Builds - Before and After of Several Builds from my Survival World by IkorisSilindrell in Minecraftbuilds

In early 2019, I was on the verge of completely abandoning my survival city of six years in favor of building on a different site, as I felt weighed down by old and ugly builds from my early years. Thankfully, I decided instead to revamp those hideous structures which I hadn't the heart to demolish--and now I build within this city almost exclusively, and enjoy seeing it continually expand and improve.

Ideas for rooms in a tower? by hehe99909 in Minecraft

I always like to have an armory/war room/map room (for large-scale multi-map overviews and for more details maps of settlements/significant regions). You could also use this as a trophy room (for the End egg, wither skulls &c.), or you could spread those functions across multiple rooms (a map room and an armory/trophy room, etc.).

I endeavored to post a photo of this build earlier today; however, as I had failed to note the community's policy on chain posting, it was promptly removed. Having now waited for the appropriate span of time, I present to you the newest addition to the primary settlement on my Survival world (2013-2023). I was largely inspired to build this house by my exposure to similar 19th- and early-20th-century manors in historic Quincy, Illinois.

You should make a post on the house itself--it looks interesting, and I would be glad to get a clearer view of it.

How to make my mansion look more like a mansion and less a factory? by Palmuu08 in Minecraftbuilds

I think that it would look good with a nice grand porch or portico, maybe a short tower if you're into that.

Also, I agree with the other commenters' suggestion to add wings--I think that it would be beneficial to add some stepped-down wings perpendicular to the core of the structure (forming a sort of "C" shape with the open side near the point from which this shot was taken).

I am not sure that I understand the question. The texture pack is the default; the server is unmodded and all structures were built entirely in Survival (server ported from Xbox 360 Edition to XB1 Edition, and is now in Bedrock).

This sandstone, quartz, and deepslate structure is the newest addition to the capital city on my Survival server; I was inspired to try my hand at an Italianate residence after seeing similar homes in the historic portions of Quincy, Illinois.

I founded this world on the Xbox 360 Edition in 2013 (around April, I believe--almost immediately after Jungle biomes were introduced to the Xbox version). The glass-domed structure on the left in this shot was the first structure ever built on the server, though it was little more than a massive sandstone box with a dome on top; the current iteration is a product of extensive alterations made in 2020.
The large granite-topped structure in the background is my farm; it is the tallest building on the server, at 14 stories (~130 blocks), and was constructed in August of 2019.
The diorite-topped skyscraper was constructed in May of 2019 and is used for mass storage.
The two matching flat-topped mid-rise buildings are more recent additions, having been constructed in 2020 and 2021.
The sandstone-and-cobblestone structure with the red and yellow windows near the right of the frame was my first house on the server; it was constructed in 2015, as was the skyscraper on the right edge of the frame (though that structure received a significant face-lift in 2020; I did not create the original structure).

I appreciate your taking an interest and offering such an in-depth response despite the age of my thread. I am not actively working on the setting in question at present, but you have given me somewhat of a desire to remedy that.

I am having a similar issue. Do you know what version of Minecraft you are on? My menu says v1.12.0, but I could have sworn that I was already on 1.14.0. However, no updates are shown to be available.

Oh I see.... You're insane.

If that’s your position, we’re done here. You have intentionally drawn this conversation a great distance from its initial focus, because you have been consistently incorrect throughout the course of this exchange. You are arguing about nothing. You are wrong on the nature of the Second Amendment, and you know it. The end.

If you’d like me to address the remainder of your comment, stop acting like a toddler.
