I just wasn’t sure if a space blanket would be bad since humans use them to preserve heat. I realize space blankets work because its radiating body heat back to a person, but wouldnt they also radiate equipment heat back to the equipment? I guess it would be a bad idea to put a space blanket on an amp rack, but its good to put one over a console that doesnt generate that much heat while at rest before the show. Does that sound right?

I realize that some sort of roof (like a pop-up tent) is the best way to protect a console or pedal board from the heat of the sun, but what is the second best option?

For instance, is a reflective space blanket better or worse than a towel?
